Students can read and understand the invitation for an Easter party. 2. They can write about what they will do on their birthday party. * Moral Aims: Students get to know the traditions of Easter in western countries by reading. They learn to have a grateful heart and express their thanks to their parents on their birthday party.重难点 1. How to make students understand the invitation. 2. Students look at the photos of an Easter party to answer the question: What will people do on an Easter party?6. Student learn the new phrases by reading and spelling.7. Students read the paragraph about what people will do aloud.8. Students look at the last paragraph and try to understand the meaning of” RSVP” and “by March 23rd”.9. Students read through the invitation after the tape-recorder and then read it together.10. Students read the given sentences and tick or cross them according to the context of the invitation.11. Invite individuals to present their answers.Step 4. Practice and consolidation.1. Students sing the song “ The Twelve Months”2. Students look at the pictures of birthday parties and try to describe the pictures.3. Students write three sentences about what they will do on their birthday party.4.
