课题:Go for it!八年级上Unit 8-Section B(2a-2d)单位:碱厂中学姓名:杨雅智一、教材分析 本单元是人教新目标2013版八年级上第八单元,话题是“cooking”。本课是第四课时,是本单元的阅读课。目标是指导学生阅读,培养学生良好的阅读习惯和对文章结构的整体感知能力,从而为下一节的写作课提供大量的参考信息。二、学情分析1知识基础:通过前3课时的学习,学生掌握了三明治的制作步骤及相关词汇。已具备一定的正确使用表示序列的副词:“First,Next,Then,Finaly”的能力。能够为本节课的话题的展开进行词汇的提取.2心理及技能特点:学生有学习英语的兴趣和热情,但是他们表达、书写的能力差,尤其缺乏科学的学习习惯和方法。3学习需要:“cooking”食物制作的话题在日常生活中发生的频率较高,交际的需要和学生知识储备缺乏的矛盾,构成本节课的“学习需要”。综上:学生在知识、能力、情感等方面都能与教材契合,这样学生的参与面广,学习效果佳。三、教学目标1、知识目标1)要求掌握以下词汇: (1) 名词 n. turkey, traveler, Thanksgiving, autumn, pepper, oven, plate, gravy, temperature(2) 动词 v. mix, celebrate, fill, cover, serve(3) 形容词 adj. special, traditional ,main (4) 词组 give thanks for, mix together, put in, cover with cut into ,eat with, serve to , main dish, at a very high temperature.2). 要求掌握以下句式:(1).In most countries, people usually eat traditional food on special holidays. (2). and is a time to give thanks for food in the autumn. (3). celebrate this idea of giving thanks by having a big meal (4).Here is one way to make turkey for a Thanksgiving dinner. (5).Serve it to your friends with some vegetables.2、能力目标1).学习表述感恩节大餐火鸡的制作并掌握相关词汇,能以书面形式流畅写出火鸡的制作流程。2).提高阅读能力,掌握阅读技巧。学会“略读”寻找文章的主要大意。学会“跳读”寻找文章的细节信息。3、德育目标1).在语言的运用中感受中西方饮食文化的不同。2).通过食物制作过程的介绍,使学生懂得不浪费粮食,珍惜他人的劳动成果。四、教学重点难点教学重点:阅读短文获得相关信息,提高学生的综合阅读能力。教学难点:以书面的形式流畅写出火鸡制作过程。六、教学过程Teaching steps(教学步骤)1.
