They are classrooms. They are classrooms in our new school. Lets read the dialogue first. In the dialogue you hear two people talking. While reading try to cut (断句)/ the sentences into parts, blacken(涂黑) the predicates, shade(加影)the connectives and underline(划线)the expressions. Now write all the expressions in your Expression Book.Now we read the dialogue. Next its time for listening. I play the tape twice. For the first time listen and look at the dialogue. For the second time, just listen to the tape and try not to look at the dialogue.4 Listen and underline the correct answers. On page 14, there are five sentences. Now listen to the tape once again. This time try to underline the correct answer. 1 In Bettys school there are 2046 students in a class.2 In Damings class there are 2521 girls.3 There is / isnt a computer on Miss Lis desk.4 Are there any computers in Damings classroom? Yes, there are./ No, there arent.Pronunciation and speaking5 Listen and repeat.Boys and girls, pronunciation is important. Now we practice pronunciation of three sounds. First listen and repeat after me three times. / mother/ mother teacher computer/ girl thirtySecond listen to the tape and repeat after it. Listen and repeat carefully. Pay attention to the pronunciation of the native speaker. 6 Listen and repeat these numbers.We see fourteen words, number words, in the box.
