Unit 3 Could you please clean your room?第一课时:Section A 1a-2d教 材 人教2011课标版八年级英语下册教学目标1、掌握四会单词rubbish, take out the rubbish, fold, sweep, floor, mess.2、学会有关“家务劳动”的生词、短语:chore, dish, sweep, trash ,fold ,do chores, do the dishes, take out the trash, fold the clothes, sweep the floor, make ones/the bed, clean the living room. 3、学会有礼貌的提出要求的句型 :-Could you please clean your room? -Yes, sure.-Could you please take out the trash? -Of course.-Could you please do the dishes?-Sorry, I cant. I have to do my homework.学情分析经过和八年级同学们的相处,对他们有了一定的了解,从上册期末成绩来看,学习成绩不够理想,学生学习态度不够端正,部分学生纪律涣散,以强欺弱等不利学习的诸多因素存在。当然,部分学生学习目的明确,态度端正,掌握了英语学习的一些基本方法,能够积极主动认真地学习,学习成绩较好。但还有少部分学生没有明确的学习目的,缺少学习的热情和主动性,自觉性较差,相应的学习习惯也差。一部分学生没有良好的学习习惯,懒得记忆单词,造成学习英语的困难,最终导致看不懂,听不懂,学不懂,不去学。面对现实,只能在课堂中争分夺秒。针对种种问题,在本学期的英语教学中,一方面应加强基础知识的巩固和基本技能的训练,让学生掌握单词、词汇、语法、句型等基础知识和听、说、读、写的基本技能,为进一步学习英语打下坚实的基础;另一方面,又要采取多种措施,注意培养学生对英语的兴趣;让学生掌握记忆单词、听音、写作等英语学习技艺,培养良好的学习习惯和自主探索,合作探究能力。充分调动学生的学习积极性和主动性。教学上采取“一引二导三思”教学,运用灵活多变的方法,实现学生语言运用能力的迁移和拓展。还要注意培养良好的师生关系,尊重理解学生,与学生一起分享学习中的苦与乐。使每一位学生都能在学习中感受到学习的乐趣,成绩得到提高,各方面取得进步。教学重点掌握Could you please.?的句型及有关“家务劳动”的生词和短语。教学难点 运用Could you please.?的句型谈论有关“家务劳动”。教学过程活动1【导入】LeadinToday well learn Unit 3 Could you please clean your room? In this unit well talk about chores and permission. 活动2【讲授】Presentation Show “Studying aims”1. Read and understand the words by looking at the pronunciation. 2.抽读、正音、领读、齐读 3. Finish 1a by writing down A for always, U for usually, O for often, S for sometimes, HE for hardly ever and N for never. (在短语旁边用频率副词的首字母写出自己做家务的频率)活动3【练习】Consolidation 1. Lead students to repeat the target phrases again and again, then memorize them.2. Check if they master them.活动4【活动】Consolidation Do the listening.1. Listen and check Peters mother or Peter will do these chores.听力策略:听前让学生预测可能听到的结果,诱发其好奇心和兴趣;听中,捕捉家务名称和说话人的语音语调;听后,用完整的句子说出答案,旨在练语言、用语言。2. Listen and read follow the tape.活动5【练习】Production 1. Read the conversation in 1a and translate it by themselves. (默读并试着翻译1c的对话)Make polite requests:2. Practice reading. (领读,齐读,分角色读) 3. Make conversations about the chores in 1c.4. Let students practice it in groups. 活动6【讲授】ProgressCould you please sweep the floor? 你能扫一下地吗?Could you please后加动词原形.表示委婉的请求。肯定回答: Yes, sure/certainly/of course.否定回答常用Sorry, I cant .一般不用NO开头,用No显得态度生硬,不礼貌注:could是情态动词can的过去式,但在本句中Could you do?不表示过去,用以表示礼貌,委婉或不确定的语气。活动7【活动】Consolidation. Do the listening.1. Listen. Peter asks his father if he can do four things. What does his father say ? Check yes or no. (听录音。彼得问他爸爸他能否做四件事。他爸爸说什么了,请在yes或no前打钩)听力策略:听前,仔细观察图片,识别人物关系及对话地点,然后浏览表格中信息,明确每个短语的意思,扫清听力障碍)Notes: (1)stay out late ; (2)give sb. a ride/get a ride from sb.2.Listen again. Why does Peters father say “no”? Draw lines to the reasons in the chart in 2a. 3.Listen and check. 4. Make conversations between Peter and his father. 活动8【练习】Practice Practice the conversations in pairs in 2c.活动9【活动】Production 1. Read 2d and answer the questions: (1)How many people are there in the conversation?(2)Who are they? 2. After reading:(1)Listen to the tape and repeat, and ask students to imitate the conversation. (2)Read together and role play it in pairs. (3)Group work (make conversations using real information).(4)Practice the conversation in pairs.活动10【讲授】Progress 1.Could you please + 动词原形+宾语+其它 ?“请你好吗?”肯定回答:Yes,sure ./Of course ./No, problem .否定回答:Sorry, I cant./No, I cant. 此句型是表达“礼貌请求”的日常交际用语。类似的句型还有:Would you (please)+ do sth.? 肯定回答:Sure. / Of course./ No problem./ Id love to.否定回答:Sorry. / Sorry, I cant./ Id love to, but.2.Compare:Could you please sweep the floor?Can you do the dishes?Think: Which sounds more polite to you?情态动词can和could均可用来提出要求,但could 较为委婉、客气。 Could you please+?是一个礼貌、委婉地提出要求的句式,其后加动词原形即可。注意在回答时,could要用can 代替。活动11【测试】Practice I.
