Chapter One System IntroductionA. This maintenance software is adopted with the PBX of tl9000 series, and it is not applicable to group telephones and PBX of other types. B. To maintain a friendly interface so as to realize the real time showing on the using status of PBX extensions and the trunk ports, and the numbers on the phone as well. In addition, the property of the telephones used as PBXs will be clearly identified.C. The maintenance software has adopted the multithreading technology and featured as beautiful interface, easy setting, easy understanding, and real time display on setting information and resultsD. The maintenance software of this edition has further improved its security, and entitlement setting for various operators is flexible and strictly controlled. E. With the adoption of this maintenance software, it is able to upload, download, copy and restore on the PBX data of TL9000 series in one time or in several time so as to ensure the reliability and stability of the data and to avoid unnecessary troubles resulted from accidents. F. The waking-up service is able to keep the waking-up setting and waking-up notice of the clients for as long as 7 days so as to ease the inquiry of the clients and to turn on the leaving-word lights manuallyG. The maintenance software is able to make detailed records on all telephone, including those connected, not connected and those answered and not answered, and the software is able to make query and statistics in different key words. H. The maintenance software is to provide the connecting port for external charging software; with the connecting ports, it is able to deliver the data of telephone list and bar to the external charging software, and to deliver the grade request of external charging software to the PBX. Chapter 2 Software InstallationA. Hardware Requirement on Computer:P300 above CPU,32M above EMS Memory,850M above hard disk,Windows98、Windows2000、Windows NT and Windows XP operating system;B. Installation of SoftwareInsert the CD and open it; double click on the setup.exe in the corresponding category, and you could see following interface:As follows, please click on the Next Button and Yes Button until the appearance of the interface mentioned. Then, fill in the name of the computer, name of the company and serial number as well; as followed, please click on the Next button to enter into the installation interface. Click the Browse button to choose where to install the software and the default category is “C:Program FilesTONGLI tl9000”.In the next, please click Cancel Button to cancel and Next Button to go on until the end of the installation, please click Finish Button. At present, you could see the tl9000 Group Telephone Maintenance Software in both desktop and starting menu. Chapter 3 Entitlement SettingThis system is with passwords of 2 levels, including password for administrator and that for operator; the administrator is to supervise on the operators, including add / delete the operators, and the operator entitlement setting for various operators. The detailed information is as follows: A. Operator Management: while choosing the Operator Management Item in the system menu, you could see following interface:In the picture, the upper part is the operator information, while the below part is the corresponding rights for operators. Stop the mouse in the picture and click the right key of the mouse, you would see shortcut menu as follows:With the adoption of the shortcut menu, it enables the operators to add and delete the operators, and to modify the password for both operator and administrator as well. If you want to operate on the present operation, it is required to choose the operator at first, then to tick corresponding rights.B. Operator Log-on: Choose the menu of operator log-on, following interface would appear; input log-on name and password and then click the Yes Button, which leads to the turning on of the corresponding button. The operator is able to carry out the normal operation; to exit from the operation, just choose the operator exit item and everything will come to an end. The original log-on name and password of system are all “tongli”.Chapter 4 System Management Double click on the tl9000 Icon on the desktop, and maintenance software will start on with the initial installation interface being as follows:Double click on the main supervision interface shown as below, and you could see following information: the extension status being on the right upper part, the trunk status being at the bottom part, the telephone records being in the middle and the drawer-type menu being on the left. The size of all display area could be manually adjusted, and the display windows of extension and the trunk could be set into different style and colors as necessary. The setting could be done by click on the right key of the mouse while stopping the mouse in the windows. The status could be shown in various forms, including big icon, small icon, list and detailed information etc. There are 24 telephone icons statically setting in the window; once the telephone is in use, the corresponding icon will make relevant change with the display of telephone number under the icon (in both big icon mode and small icon mode). As illustrated, it means the extension 1033 and trunk 1081 is in connection,i.e. 1033 is making phone calls with other telephone number with the adoption of 1081 trunk; Please notice that “E”refers to the extension number and “T”refers to the trunk number. The telephone using window will continuously display; if the window is not large enough to show all big icons, then to show in the small icon is also allowed. If you want to see the detailed information on the telephones connected, then you could set the detailed list mode as the default mode; e.g. the following illustration tells us the 057188828828 is making phone calls with 1033 through 1044 with the dialing “0” as the host calling code. To change the background color of the extension and trunk, you are just required to choose the background color item in the shortcut menu and click on the proper color; later on, the chosen color will become the default color of the software. The original installation of the system must make relevant choice on the port setting and models with the upload of flexible series code to the maintenance software, otherwise, the software is unable to finish the task properly. Setting of Port:to choose the port setting of the system management, and fill in the original administrator password, which is the “000000”; Facing with the following interface, choose corresponding port and baud rate. If you just amend on the baud rate, click yes after alteration, the software would run in normal manner; but if you alter on the port but no change on the baud rate, then the software would work normally after re-starting. (Notice: change on baud rate just goes to the baud rate of computer maintenance software, and never goes to the PBX, then it is required to change the baud rate of the PBX so as to keep them in same.)To correctly display the status of the main interface, it is required to upload the flexible series number of extension, which enables the system to recognize the status of extension and trunk; How to upload the data, we could resort to following 2 methods, one is total upload (upload through system management), and the other is the upload of flexible series number (while setting the port of the drawer menu, please choose parameter 1 to obtain extension number from the PBX) Chapter 5 Mainframe MaintainanceMainframe maintenance is to be carried out through program setting on the PBX by the mentioned maintenance software so that the system setting could meet the demands of clients. The mainframe setting includes following items: various numbers, system time period, system parameter, setting on connection port, router setting, account setting, direction of trunk group, shadow trunk and trunk for limited number etc.A、 Number of Various Kinds:To reach some special goals, the PBX is to set some special numbers as required, including instant charging number, special number, locking-up number at various levels, open number at various levels, system short number and non-supervised extension number etc. To choose various numbers in the drawer-type menuB、 Instant Charging Number: It is allowed to set some special numbers; once the number is in connection, the system will begin charging on it. By doing so, it could improve the accuracy of charging, especially for those calling service platforms with short calling time. The setting interface is as above shown; to add the number, input the number, click on the Add Button and Press the Enter, then you could see the number filled in appeared in the below form if the PBX accepts the change; to delete the number, input or pitch on certain number and click on the Del Button, then you could see the number disappeared in the below form if the PBX accepts the change; if you want to carry out batch processing on the instant charging number, click on the “Batch Processing” Button on the side, and you would see the Batch Processing Dialogue Box shown as below, then to choose corresponding item, click on the Yes Button, and relevant information would be uploaded to the computer or the PBX as well. 1、 Special Number:While cutting off the internal-city phone calls, it is allowed to set some telephone numbers of non long-distance; by doing so, the PBX could go on sending telephone list with different charging standard on these phone calls while the extension is dialing these numbers; if necessary, the clients could set some special numbers as 160 and 114 etc. And the setting way is the same as that of the instant charging number. 2、 Locking-up Number of Various Grades:This kind of number refers to the number prohibited to be called by the extensions; Grade 1 to grade 8 corresponds to the on-and-off grade of various extensions, and its locking up number is the prohibited dialing number at corresponding grades; Grade 0 is system locking up number, which can not be connected by any other extension number except for those at grade 9. The setting interface is as follows; in terms of the setting mode, please choose corresponding grade, then input the number required to be locked at this grade, and click on the Add Button or press Enter; after doing so, if the PBX has accepted such operation, the number added would appear in the forms below; if it is to delete certain number at certain grade, input the grade and the number required to be deleted in the text box, or to pitch on the number at corresponding grade, and then click on the delete Button. If the PBX has accepted the relevant change, the number deleted would disappear from the form timely. Batch processing follows the same way as that of the instant charging number. 3、 Public Number of Various Grades:Number of this kind refers to the number out of the grades of fixed extension number, but these numbers are allowed to be connected. Therefore, these numbers are not restricted by various grades and locking-up number. Grade 1 to grade 8 corresponds to the on-and-off grade of various extensions, and the setting interface and mode are the same as that of locking-up number of various kinds. 4、 System Speed Dialing Number:it is able to set those frequently used number as the system speed dialing number so as to ease the client operation. Such kind of number has 10 groups in total with 0 to 9 in correspondence; and its interface is as follow with the same setting mode as that of the locking-up number of various number. 5、 Extension Free from Monitoring:normally, the extension is under full monitoring and the system is feedback relevant information to the client with continuous signal tones of various kinds. In non-monitoring mode, the signal mode will be displaced by a series of number in double audio frequency, which ease the connection of external equipment from outside and speed up the reaction on system requirement. The setting mode is the same as that of the instant charging number.6、 Visional Number:the visional number is to set for the same dialing number of the extensions both in and out of the net; it is a series of number added in front of the extension number, which has the same effect as direct dialing on the extension number. It has the same setting interface and methods of locking-up number at various levels. C. Time Period of System:system time period includes setting for on-and-off time period, internal calling time period and economic time period; 1、On-and-off Time Period:by setting this time period, it is to control on the calling type out of the fixed scope and it is the basis for auto-conversion between on and off the work mode. The setting interface is as follows; in terms of the setting mode, to fill in the starting and end time in correspondence date with clicking on the Add Button to ensure the add operation, and the PBX has accepted such change, relevant information would be shown in the forms below. If there are no repeat data between the newly added information and the existed information, the system will memorize both messages. Click on the Clean Button, and all data on todays on-and-off work data will be cleaned off. Click on the Batch Processing Button at the bottom of the interface, it is able to realize the re-set on the PBX in terms of the on-and-off working time data from Monday to Sunday, or it enables to upload all data on on-and-off working time to the computer so as to keep the data in the same. 2、Time Period of Internal Calling:Time period setting on on-and-off work and internal calling is different so as to avoid the unnecessary disturbance while the extension is in use. And it follows the same mode in setting. 3、Economic Time Period:the system is in support of 8 economic routing, being from 0 to 7, with every route being consisted by several allowable dialing number. If the external dialing number also possesses the economic dialing entitlement, then the system will automatically add a routing code with highest priority in front of the dialing number (Refer to the setting of the economic routing). In terms of the orders of the economic routing allowable, it could be adjusted as required with the same setting interface and mode as that of the on-and-off work time period setting, and the only difference existed is you are required to input the order from 0 to 7 if necessary. D、System Parameter:as required, the PBX is able to set some normal parameter; in terms of the performance index of the PBX, including ringing time, beating time and noting tones could be adjusted as requested by the clients; the setting interface and detailed index are as follows: 1、System Password:The system administrator is to change the system password so as to prevent from the illegal entering by the personnel without authorization. The password must have 6 numbers with the “000000” as its original password. The system password refers to the programmable entering order of the extension; if the PBX accepts the operation after click on the send button or pressing on the enter, success information will be released with green light; on the contrary, you would see the information as waiting for receiving. 2、On-and-off Mode Conversion:the compulsion system is under on-and-off working status, or the status would be automatically conversed based on the on-and-off working time; to choose on-and-off work auto-conversion function in the down-pulling button, and press on the send button or press enter; then, if the PBX has accepted the change, green lights would be turned on; if no such hints, you would see hints as waiting for receiving; the same as the index setting followed. 3、On-duty Consultation Number:in on-work status, dialing and searching number corresponds to ringing extension.4、Off-duty Consultation Number:While in off-work state, dialing and searching number corresponds to ringing extension.5、Effective Period for Account:while the user ends the phone call, it enables the user to redial the latest number within a certain period of time without the input of account password, and the time period is called as account maintaining period being as long as 1 to 90 seconds. And all accounts possess the same maintaining period of time. 6、Internal Dialing Tone:To make choice on different dialing tone, including single ringing tone and double ringing tone;7、Upper Limit of Hook Flash Time:different telephones have different beating time, which can be set by users based on the actual situation; users could set the maximum beating time, if the beating time is less than the maximum time, it is the beating operation; on the contrary, it is the end of the calling. P.S: the upper limit scope of beating time ranges from 10-90 with the unit being as 10ms, i.e. the beating time is between 100ms to 900ms, and such kind of setting just applies to the common telephone. 8. Ringing Time of Extension:the ringing time of the extension will last for 3 to 90 seconds.9. System Effective Time: the system maintaining time will be as long as 3 to 90 seconds.10. Charging On Postponing Calling Time:in this setting mode, the charging time will from 1 second to 60 seconds with all trunk postponing charging time being in the same. 11. Hotline Start-up Time:while holding up the speaker without dialing the number, a pre-set number, called as hotline number, will be dialed automatically and this period of waiting time is called as hotline start-up time, ranging from 1 second to 15 seconds. 12. Calling List Sending Degree:to control on the types of calling list sending to the maintenance software and SMDR
