地市:东莞市镇区:东城学校:岭南学校设计人:曾小玲教材版本:人教版新目标年级:八年级单元:Unit4课时:第二课时英语教学设计一 Knowledge goals: 教学目标知识目标:1.阅读短文,学生能按要求找到相应的信息。2.通过阅读学生们能提高阅读能力。Knowledge goals: The first : Read the passage, students can find the proper information.The second: Students can improve their ability of reading.技能目标:1.学生能训练听说读写的能力。 2.培养学生如何根据题干的信息来提取文章中的信息,如何快速阅读及精读。Skill goals:Students can train their four skills of listening saying reading writing.Students can get the information according to the passage, students can know how to skimming quickly and intensive reading情感态度与价值观:人的一生并不都是一帆风顺的,难免有一些挫折的困难,如生活中发生了一些不尽如人意的问题,我们学会冷静对待,学会用合理的办法去理性地解决问题。Emotional and attitude and value: In our life we usually face more or less problems. When we meet them ,we should calm down and ask for help. Especially communicate with others.二 Analysis the students 学生情况分析学习者特征分析1.学生已经是八年级的学生,对语言及结构有了更多的认识。2学生已经学习了关于提出建议的“should”和“Why dont you ”的句型;3学生用简单的单词来解释新单词的意思,如:make sth. clean = explain4学生对whats the main problem about parents or brother等句型非常熟悉;5学生思维活跃,善于和同学交流,乐于表达自己,渴望得到同学和教师的赞许;6八年级学生对英语学习仍有着浓厚的兴趣,但是对部分基础差的学生需要布置不同 的教学任务。7学生对于PPT talking和picture talking的呈现形式感到很好奇。三、Analysis the textbook 教材内容分析新单词有get on with; relation, communication, argue, cloud, elder, instead, whatever, nervous, offer, proper, secondly, communication, explain, clear 主要句型是why dont you talk about these feelings with your family? You should offer to help. You should explain that you dont mind him watching TV all the time. 本课主要从学生生活实际出发,联系学生所学的单词和句型,通过make dialogues with new words、readings、picture talking等多种活动,复习旧知,联系新知,丰富学生的词句,训练学生的说听说读写能力,提高学生的综合能力。并且通过这些内容的学习学生能正确处理生活矛盾。Teaching Focus 教学重点Students are able to master the new words and phrases. Who could you ask for help when you have problems?1.Ss give advice By doing this step, Ss can review the words and phrases. whats more, It can improve their skill of speaking.Step 2 Presentation Show the picture from P27 and give Ss questions. guess 1. where are they? 2. what are they doing?3 show the new words and explain.(game)4 finish 3CSs answer the question.they are in the kitchen.They are arguing.It can make the Ss pay attention to this text and show the key words.Step 3 Lead inRead the article and find problems and advice. Ss can talk about these problems in their group .Ask one to five to answer them.Its related to this text and more easy for them to finish the task from text.Step 4 Reading 1Work on 3a: Tell Ss to read the article in 3a quickly and try to find the answers to these questions: Where do you find the letter ?Whats the main problem about the family? Ss read the question and have a fast reading by themselves and find the answer.Its easy for the secondary Ss so that it can improve their interest. At the same time , it can improve their ability of independent studying.Step5 Reading 2Ss listen and read the article again and fill in the chart. And ask secondary Ss to find the main key words and phrases. Check the answers.Ask ss to read it in their group and fill the chart.Show their answer on the blackboardIt can improve their skill of reading. Step 6Reading 3Ss read the article again and find the difficult sentence.Ss talk them in their group.It can improve their skill of reading. Step 7Work on 3bTalking the question in 3bDo you agree or disagree with Mr.Hunts advice? why.Ss talk about it. Let students say their opinions.It can improve their skill of speaking. Cooperation and exchange. cooperation and communicationTeaching map 教学流程图revision 1 show pictures presentation 2 discuss 1 lead in (show picture ),guess 2 finish 3C read quickly 3 read the article read carefully do 3a-discuss drills-retell the passage practice happy reading read and choose the answers answer the questions (discuss) students say the main meaning of the “happy reading” consolidation summary homework. 六Teaching design assessment教学评价设计 :本节课复习学过的句型,从而巩固了已学知识点及重要性,也为文章做了铺垫。以呈现图片形式,让学生观看图片呈现新的单词和短语,激发的学生的兴趣及积极性。再让学生从简单问题入手,在做阅读时更加充满信心。通过使用PPT,呈现学生所要回答的问题,给学生提供了提取题干信息的能力。通过制作表格,找出文章中家庭问题,哥哥的问题,以及作者本人所遇到的问题,分别找出Mr Hunt给出了哪些建议。完成书中的三大任务,充分利用了教材。 This lesson revise sentences what we have learned, they can consolidate the learned knowledge, and it lead a road to the new passage. Presenting a picture lets them watch the new words and phrases, it can interest students. Then learn from the easy to the difficult, they will have more confidence in reading. By using PPT to show the questions that students need to answer, make them have more abilities to get the main information.At the same time ,using the form, they are able to find the family problem and brothers ,whats more the writers problem.
