Module 9 Unit 2I bumped my head.教学设计 本课时编写:合肥永和学校段文哲 教材分析:本模块的学习主要依然围绕着过去式的应用,着重学习动词过去式的用法,以及一个重要句型what happened to your head?在Unit2里,学习主题依然围绕着what happened to you?,通过本节课学生将学习几个动词短语,复习身体部位,同时培养学生注意安全的好习惯。教学目标:1. Students still practice the sentence pattern “what happened to you?”2. Students can ask and answer questions about this topic correctly and fluently.3. Students will cultivate their good habits of being careful and protecting themselves. 教学重难点:1. Bumped my head/ fell over/ hurt my knees/ cut my finger2. What happened to you?3. Students try to communicate with others in English correctly and fluently.教学准备:Multimedia, cards, ppt, CD-ROM教学过程:1. Warm-up 1). Sing a song:head, shoulders, knees and toes.T:Boys and girls, lets sing a song together. 2). Activity 1: listen and chant. T: Children, look at this boy. Whats he doing?(show them a picture.)Ss: He is jumping on the bed.T: Guess, what will happen to him?Ss: (students guess)T: Will he fall off the bed? Lets listen to the tape. Play the CD-ROM.Check the answer. T: What happened to him?Ss: He fell off the bed. T: Did he hurt himself?Ss: Yes, he bumped his head.T: Is it a good habit to jump on the bed?Ss: No, it isnt. T: Very good. Now, lets chant it together. 【设计意图】The song will draw students attention, make them ready for the class, and have a review on some body parts, and some sentence pattern. In Activity1, they will also have a basic idea of the topic of this lesson, and the key knowledge of this unit.2. Presentation1). Activity2. Listen and say.T: Well, boys and girls, look at these guys. They are not happy. What happened to them?Ss: (students guess.)T: Sure, your answers are very brilliant. Lets listen to the tape, and check the answer.Play the CD-ROM.T: Lets check it one by one. First, what happened to this boy?Ss: He bumped his head.T: Good. What happened to this long hair girl?Ss: She fell over, and hurt her knees.T: Great! Last one, what happened to the short hair girl?Ss: She cut her finger. Learn bumped his head.Learn fell over.Learn hurt her knees.Learn cut her finger.2). Listen again and read.Play the CD-ROM again, and read after it.T: Boys and girls, now we will listen to the tape again. This time, please try to imitate the pronunciation and intonation.3) Activity4: sing a songT: There are many dangerous things in our life. So, we should be careful, right? Ss: Yes, we should be careful. 【设计意图】This procedure is to learn the new text. The Task-based method is used to lead students to read the story carefully and get information from it. Imitation and repeat will improve students pronunciation. 3. Practice 1). Role-play.Students will read the story by group, or by role.2). Practice Activity3 on page54.3). Play games: according to Activity5 and Activity6 on page55.【设计意图】The new knowledge they have learned will be consolidated, and they will practice their skill of communication and expression.4.
