Sing the song of Module 2: Theres a Great Wall in China.Step 2. Greetings.Step 3. T: We are having class now. We go to school from Monday to Friday. But what do you do when you dont come to school?Ask several students to answer this question.please speak in English.e.g. I read books./I play football.T: Very good. This student likes reading books, so reading is his hobby. Hobby. H-O-B-B-Y.Write this new word on the blackboard. Practise reading this new word.First the teacher read and the students repeat, then ask several students to read and at last the whole class read it.T: Who likes collecting stamps?The teacher takes out a stamp and read “stamp”. Practise reading this word as before. Then show them some stamps and ask them to say “stamp”. Then practise the word “collect”. T: Do you collect stamps?A: Yes, I do.T: Do you collect stamps?B: No, I dont.Ask several other students to answer this question. Let them repeat the sentence. First some students, then a line of students, then the whole class. Ask several pairs to make a short dialogue.e.g. C: Do you collect stamps? D: Yes, I do.Show them the ten stamps and say:T: Ive got lots of stamps.Practise this sentence as before. T: Now please make a sentence use “collect”, “stamp” and “hobby”. E, please.E: Collecting stamps is my hobby.T: Collecting stamps is my hobby. Okay, very good. You are very clever. Collecting stamps is my hobby.Practise this sentence as before. Then show them some real stamps from China, America and Canada. Show them a stamp from China and speak: This stamp is from China. Then teach them to practice reading this sentence as before. Then a stamp from America and at last a stamp from Canada. After that carry several stamps from Canada and speak: These are some stamps from Canada.T: You know what “man” and “woman” are, dont you?S: Yes, I do.T: Good. If there are more than one “man”, what should we call them?Teach them the new word “men” and “women”, ask them to practice. Then carry several stamps in which there are men and women and teach them the sentence: They are famous men and women.Practise the whole dialogue from the very beginning. Then make a dialogue between the teacher and the students, then change the role and at last ask several pairs of students to make a dialogue. T: Okay, you all did a good job. Applause for yourself.Give stickers to those who did a good job.Step 4.T: Have you got any stamps from China?Practise this sentence.Carry a stamp from China.T: This stamp is from China.Practise this sentence.
