Unit 4 Then and now B Lets talk 教学设计教学内容:Unit4.B.Lets talk教学目标:1.学生能够听、说、读、写核心句型:Before I didnt like I couldnt Now, I like I can 能在情境中描述或介绍自己或他人对事物喜好及行为的变化。2.听、说、认读单词:different,active.3.听懂、会说本课中的对话,并能在情境中运用。教学重难点:重点:听、说、读、写句子:Before,I was Quiet. Now,Im very active in class.I was short, so I couldnt ride my bike well. Now,I go cycling every day. 并能在实际情境中应用。难点:掌握different的发音。学情分析:六年级学生已经不像中低段的同学那么活泼、好动,他们现在已不太满足蹦蹦跳跳的说唱活动,而更倾向有些思维含量的语言活动。他们已具备一定的背景知识,但是一些学生羞于表达,不敢正视过去幼稚的自己,不愿意或羞于表达和分享自己的变化,因此,教师应适时地渗透情感教育,让他们感悟人生的变化与发展,并能尊重和接纳这种变化,鼓励学生敢于表达,积极主动地参与英语课堂。教学准备:单词卡片、课件和教学挂图教学过程:Step1.Warm-up1. Greetings.2. Talk about Mr Liang from the Album book.T: Several day ago, some students asked me to write down something on their album book. Look, here they are. What do you know about me from this book?Ask and answer each other.(设计意图:通过课件展示“毕业季”,引发共鸣,带入情境。教师通过纪念相册创设情境,复习相关的短语与句型。)Step 2 Presentation1. Read and guess: which one is not true about my past?Students think, guess and say.(设计意图:谈论老师现在的信息和猜测过去的信息来引入话,题,让同学们初步感知Before I didnt like . I loved to . I couldnt .发音、意义及语用情境。)2.Lead in the word:different.Teach it.Teach the sentence patterns:Before I _,now I _.Students listen and feel the pronunciation and tonation.Ss pratise to read.3.Now lets look at someones changes.Whos she?(Show pictures of a boy and girl.)Ss look ,guess and describe her.(猜一猜并用所学的句型进行描述,激发了学生的参与的积极性。)4.T: You are active in class. Lead in the word:active.Explain and read it.Point one student and say:Before A was quiet.Now ,he /she is very active in class.Students listen and feel the pronunciation and intonationStudents listen and follow.(设计意图:自然引入active,结合应用的实例,感知它的用法和词意。)5.Lets try.Now Mikes friends are visiting his home. Ss listen and answer the question.Then check the answers.6.Lets talk. How did Mike change? Listen ,please.Play the recording for the second time. Ss follow it.Ss read the dialog.(设计意图:学生跟读,教师带读,培养听清、听准的能力,为下步的能说奠定基础。)Step 3 Practice 1. Role-play the dialog.2.Fill in the blanks according to the text.Role-play the dialog.Finish the exercises.(设计意图:通过角色扮演来达到初步培养学生说的能力的目的。)3. Listen and choose.Then fill in the blanks.通过不同的听的任务让学生掌握不同的听力技巧,培养学生听的能力Step 4 Extension1.I can say. Show the pictures. Have Ss make sentences.Students look and say.2.Pair work :Happy writing.After writing ,discuss in the group.Then report in class.Step 5 Homework1.Continue to finish your writing, and talk about your changes to parents and friends!2.
