Watch English video (Country Life) T: What did they do just now? (milked a cow)How do you feel about the country life? Write down your ideas.(运用形容词)( I think the country life is) _ 2. Brainstorm: describe good or bad tripStep 2 Reading. 1. Read and learn the new words. 2. Fast reading (1) Skim. Read the first and last sentence of each paragraph to get the main idea and answerQuestions: 1. Did Helen and Jim go on the same trip?_(They went on the same day, both went to the science museum, both got there by train, both saw robots.)Questions: 2. How do they feel about the trip to the museum?_(2) Scan. Tell Ss the reading strategy: Let your eyes scan the text quickly to find details that you are looking for. You can find information quickly without reading the whole text.Read and List: How do Helen and Jim describe these things?in 2c 3. Careful reading. Languadge points:1. I didnt know they could play chess with us.play 后面接球类、棋类、牌类等体育运动名称时,前面不加冠词,如:play basketball, play chess, play cards。 play后接乐器时,前面则加定冠词,如: play the violin, play the piano。2. Then the guide taught us how to make a model robot.teach sb. to do sth. 教某人做某事teach sb. sth. 教某人某事teach oneself 自学 3. All in all, it was an exciting day.all in all 总的来说,总而言之an exciting day 让人兴奋的一天exciting是形容词, 后接名词,意思是“让人兴奋的,使人兴奋的”,多形容物。excited也是形容词, 多用来形容人感到,同类的有interesting, interested; boring, bored。4. todays school trip表示有生命的东西的名词及某些表示时间、距离、星球、世界、国家等无生命的东西的名词后加 s来表示所有关系,叫做名词所有格。例如: mens room 男厕所 a miles distance 一英里的距离 但如果该名词是以-s或-es接尾,则只在该名词后加“”来构成所有格。例如: 3 hours walk 三小时的路程 five minutes walk 五分钟路程 two miles distance 两英里的距离 5. Everything was about robots.everything 作主语,谓语动词用单数。6. Im not interested in that.be interested in 对感兴趣7. it was difficult to take photos.It is + adj. (for sb.) to do sth. (对某人来说)做 怎么样e.g. 对我来说骑车上学是很容易的。It is easy for me to go to school by bike.8. There were also too many people.too many加可数名词 too many studentstoo much加不可数名词 too much water9.
