Ability Objectives:(1)Help students learn to describe the positions of the things(2)Help students learn to ask the positions of the things using”where”3.Emotion Objectives: Help students form a good habit of being tidy.二Important Points:1.New words: table, bed, bookcase, chair, sofa, desk,2.Sentence pattern: Wheres/Where are.? Its/Theyre. Is.on/in/under. ? Yes, it is./No, it isnt. Are.on/in/under.? Yes, they are/No, they arent.3 Difficult Points:Describe the positions of the things using the knowledge that learn in this lesson.4 Teaching Procedures: 1.Warming-up:preview the school things that learned in Unit 3 2.T shows the pictures of different furniture and students learn the new words 3.T asks S to do a memory game in order to help students memorize the words. 4.Finish1a:Match the words with the things in the picture 5.T asks S to see a video about three words:on,in,under and introduces the the usage of “on,in under”. 6.T asks students to finish the phrases 7.T introduces a friend Tom and lead in the sentence pattern”Wheres.?”and its Answer. And T will explain the usage of” Wheres./Where are.?”and its Answer. 8.T introduces Toms room and practice the sentence pattern. 9.Pair work:T show a picture and ask deskmates to practice the sentence pattern 10.Finish 1b:listen and number the things in the picture. 11.Finish 2a:listen and number the things 12.Finish 2b:Listen again.Find the things from2a and number them. 13.T asks S to do a guessing game (When students are guessing, students should use the sentence”Is/Are.?” and T will give the answer.) 14.Pair work:T shows a picture and asks deskmates to practice. 15.T includes what Ss have learned in this class 16 T asks S to do some exercises. 五.Homework:practice the sentence pattern”wh
