Step 3 lead-in1) Asking 2 students to stand before class and them asking other students “which student is taller?”2) asking students to choose 2 students hair by using the sentence: which student hair is longer?”3) Review comparative forms of adjectives and adverbs. Step 4 asking 3 students to stand before class and then asking other students “whos the tallest among them?” Step 5 showing pictures with different things to let students to distinguish superlative, and learning superlative in those pictures , such as , the biggest apples, the most popular stars, the closest schools. Step 6 teaching words and phrases again in pictures, such as, comfortable seats, new movies, big screens. Step 7 finish tasks 1a by themselves and then ask some students to show their answers before class. Step 8 asking students to make sentences with comparative adjectives such as, I think comfortable seats are more important than big screens. Step 9 giving students own opinion with superlative adjectives and adverbs “I think popular is the most important among them.” Step 10 asking students to make sentences with “the most important and then show their opinions. Step 11 discussion Asking students to discuss the features of sentences in 1b and sentences theyve made before. They can find out “the + adj + est” or “the + most + adj. Steps 12 tell them superlative forms of adjectives and adverbs, and then asking students to translate sentences in 1b. Step 13 pair- works1) Asking 3 or more students to become a team and then point out whos the tallest or the heaviest or has the longest hair among them.2) Choose one students in a team to introduce his or her team with superlative forms of adjectives and adverbs. Step 14 listening task1) Listen 1b the first time, they dont need to write answers.2) Listen again, they must write all the answers.3) Listen 1b the third time and check answers. Step 15 using answers in 1b to make sentence for example, town cinema is the closest to home. Step 16 practice1) Practice the conversations with other things they like.2) Asking students to make conversations with other things they like. Step 17 summary Conclude the superlative forms of adjectives and adverbs again. Step 18 homework Review knowledge in this class, prepare the next part.7 Blackboard design The left:
