All the activities in this period encourage students to use basic reading strategies for comprehension. This can help students improve their reading skills and ability of understanding. In this class students will learn how to talk about what people are doing at the same time in different places through a reading material.II.The Analysis of students Middle school students are very active and energetic, who can bring all their potentialities into full play if they are interested in this class. But they will also behave negatively because of long and boring reading passage. So by various reading activities, it is important for teachers to arouse students learning motivation and launch their learning behaviors.III.Three Dimensional Teaching Goals1. Knowledge and skillsa. Get the students to learn the new words.b. Lead the students to understand some important and difficult sentences.2. Process and method goalsa. Lead students to skim the passage to get the main idea of each paragraph.b. Have students scan the passage to comprehend each paragraph better through various reading activities.3. Moral goalsDeepen students love for family.IV.Teaching key points1. Master the key words and phrases.2. Get the students to understand the passage in a correct way.V.
