人教版八年级英语下册Unit 5 SectionB1a1d教学设计一教学目标 1、 知识目标:要求学生掌握使用过去进行时来询问或描述过去进行的事情,并学会用when、while谈论过去的事情或自己的故事。2、 能力目标:能在交际过程中熟练运用所学结构和句型,在听前学会运用听前预测,在听中提高抓取和记录关键信息等听力技能,在听后学会运用when、while引导的时间状语从句讲述自己的故事。3、 情感目标及价值观:教育、培养学生对他人及动物表示关爱;以及讲述过去的故事。二 教学重点:学会新授单词及短语;正确使用过去进行时态“was/were doing”的结构;谈论过去的事情或讲述自己过去的故事。三 教学难点:正确使用过去进行时态“was/were doing”的结构;谈论过去的事情或讲述自己过去的故事。四教学策略语音教学让学生跟读、齐读等形式进行模仿操练;词汇和短语教学采取情景介绍和造句的方式进行教学,让学生在情境中操练、理解含义,并学会运用;口语教学采取Pair work问答式的口语交际活动互相操练;听力教学采取回答问题、按顺序排列以及角色扮演等方式。4教学过程 教学活动 活动1【导入】Revision I、Greetings. 师生互相问候,并就天气话题自由谈论。II、Review. 教师以询问日期提及汶川地震纪念日,接着导入句型:What were you doing when Wenchuan earthquake happened?活动2【导入】Leadin I、 呈现一组图片来导入新词汇。T:What was he doing?S:He was making his way to the bus stop.T:Next picture. What happened to her when she left her house? S:When she left her house, she realized she forgot to pull out her keys. T:Can you use “make ones way”、“realize” to make sentences? 2、 展示一组图片讲述自己为帮助学生开会迟到的故事,以看图填空的形式展示故事,在故事中呈现重点短语,比如:had a serious stomachache,was trying to make my way,was ready to help等来丰富学生的词汇,并复现核心词汇为下面的听力训练做准备。 3、 展示一组与学生生活非常贴切的故事图片,让学生看图讲故事。T:Look at these pictures. There are two stories about Sara and Lilei. Please finish these stories and then play the role of Sara and Lilei. 活动3 Presentationandlisteningpredictions 以篮球比赛为话题呈现一组幻灯片。采用问答的形式进行操练“was/were doing”的结构以及when、while引导的时间状语从句。在操练的句型中并呈现一些核心词汇,比如:basketball competition, make his way to, cheer them on等为接下来的听力练习做准备。T:What was he doing when the rainstorm came? S1:He was playing basketball when the rainstorm came. T:What were they doing while you were watching TV?S2:They were having a basketball competition while I was watching TV.T:What was he doing when they were having a basketball competition?S3: He was making his way to it when they were having a basketball competition.T: What was she doing while they were playing basketball?S4: While they were playing basketball, she was cheering them on. 活动4 Listeningpractice 1、播放两遍听力,学生做简略回答,并正确排序。完成后集体订正答案。2、阅读听力材料做听后处理,完成三个学习任务。 任务一:Read the listening materials and answer the questions. 1. What did she realize when she got to the bus stop? 2. What did she do when she realized her bag was at home? 3. What did she see while she was running back home? 4. What did she want to do when she saw the dog?5. Why did she wait for someone when she wanted to call the Animal Helpline?6. When the basketball competition started, what was Kate doing? 任务二:Play the role of Kate.Kate: What a day I had! _ I got to the bus stop, I _ that my bag was still at home! Finally, ask some groups to act out their conversations. 活动5【活动】Groupwork 把学生分成六个小组,以I was late for /couldnt go to .because.; when/while句型讲述自己真实的故事。 活动6【练习】Exercises 即学即用,设计了三个训练题。记忆大比拼、完成句子和选词填空题。:通过记忆大比拼检测学生对本节课所学的新词汇掌握情况;完成句子使学生对本节课所学重点知识学以致用;选词填空题的设计主要是拓展学生的词汇及能力。 活动7【作业】Summary 以“树”形图的方式呈现本节课所学的知识。本节课所学的重点知识包括:New words and phrases; L
