Teaching Difficult PointsDescribe the position of the things correctly using the prepositions we have learnt in this class.The usage of the pronouns: it, they. Teaching Methods Audio Lingual Method, Communicative Approach, Group work. Teaching Aids A recorder, a computer, some drawings. Teaching ProceduresStep1. Greeting as usualStep2. Review and Warming Up Let the students watch a video and show some school things.Tell the students read them aloud together. Step3. Vocabulary teachingT: There are many school things in our schoolbags. What do you have in your bedroom? Show some furniture and Let the students read after the teacher.Draw a table and a desk on the blackbord and ask: Whats this? Howdo you spell it?Step4. 1a Match the words with the things in the picture.Have the Ss look at the picture and finish the task. Then check the answers.Step5. Situational teaching(1) T: use a cat and a box to show the Ss the position of the two things using on/in/under to answer.Q: Wheres the cat? A: Its on/in/under the box. (2)Explain the grammar.Step6. 1b Listening(1) Tell the Ss how to listen and do the exercise, and then play the recorder. Finally, check the answer.(2) Play it again. Lead the Ss follow the recorder one sentence by one sentence.Step7. 1c Conversation practice(1) Guide the Ss to read and understand the sentences in 1a.
