Reading strategy.4教学过程4.1 第一学时4.1.1教学活动活动1【导入】Warmingupandleadingin评论Teacher s activities:Enjoy a piece of music.Tell them the topic of the song The world belongs to us, and we can take it better.Students activities: Guess the topic of the song.Teacher s activities:Show a cartoon and let children do some actions.(Warming-up) Ask:What do you want to be in the future?Students activities: (Say something about future)Teacher s activities:Lead in: I want to be a guide. The world belongs to us. I will travel around the world.Show the pictures and ask the students what the names of the countries are.Students activities:Listen to the music.Read the names of the countries and lead in the new lesson.Design aims:Draw the students attention to the English class.Make sure they are more relaxed in this class.Learn about the countries names by looking the pictures.活动2【活动】Beforereading评论Teachers activities:Watch a video about Singapore.Ask some questions:1. What do you know about Singapore?2. What do you think of Singapore?3. T:Lets start our trip!Singapore -Were coming! Now clean our way (New words) to Singapore.Match the words with their meaning.Students activities:Match the words with their meaning.Someone will get one point as long as he/she answers one question. Design aims:Inspire the students by watching a video.And check the words they have previewed.活动3【活动】Whilereading评论Teacher s activities:1. Ask students to skim the article to match the main idea with each paragraph.2. Ask students to read the Para 1 carefully and find out Singapore in the map,then fill in the blanks.3. Ask students to listen to Para 2 carefully and check the foods they hear.(Close the books) 4.Then ask them to read the Para 3 and work in groups to answer the questions.5. Ask them to watch a video about the Night Safari. And tell the differences between the Night Safari and the normal zoo they have ever seen.6. Ask them to listen to Para 4 along with the recording and answer the question.7. Ask students to read again and correct the mistakes in 2c.Students activities:1. Skim the article and match the main idea with each paragraph.2. Read the Para 1 carefully and find out Singapore in the map,then fill in the blanks.3. Finish the moral goals: Boys and girls, we have learned a lot about Singapore, although we remain within doors. Thanks to the books ,we can travel around the world.
