赣州卫生学校英语教研室 实践教学报告设计 课程名称英语应用基础实践章节及内容Unit 4 Mental Health授课时数Two授课形式实践课授课专业15五年制涉外护理授课教师范春香实践目的1.To consolidate and enhance the students oral English, and to review the contents of the Unit 7, including the words, sentence structures and grammar. 2. To practice the students communicative skills , which includes the ability of listening and the courage of speaking. 3. To create a relaxing and harmonious atmosphere, and relieve the stress of learning process.实践要求1. All the students should make full use of the knowledge they learned in Unit 7 and do some oral practice. That means they may use the words, sentence structures and grammar in this unit as much as they can. 2. Everybody must take part in the practice actively and bravely, and do some pratical searching about scary stories on the internet. 3. Students do some role-play to learn how to be a good teller.设施与环境A multi-media classroom with the lights shutted & the door and curtains are closed实践准备教师准备: The teacher prepares some necessary background information and some related tools.学生准备 The students get prepared to the role of a storyteller.实践步骤(在阅读,写作,口语实践过程中,教师全程参与,实时指导)Step 1. Presentation (10 minutes) 1.1 Students who chose to be a volunteer, should make full preparation, such as searching on the internet to find a good storiy or ask their parents, friends even their teachers for help.1.2 Teacher should restate some matters needing attention in the process of telling scary stories. Comfort some vulnerable students and do some psychological work about how to relieve their fear.Step 2. Practice (60 minutes)2.1 Story 1: Its about a boy who was falling with a girl deeply, unfortunately, the girl died in a car accident. And the girl turned to be a ghost, haunting around the boy. She tried to convined the boy that she was still alive. In this process, there were a lot of funny things happened between the ghost girl and the boy. 2.2 Story 2: The topic is about Halloween party, as we can see from the picture. On the day of Halloween, all people dressed up the scariest roles they thought, while children were playing the game, Treat or Trick. 2.4 Story 3: Its about a famous movie named Coco. The boy called Miguel wanted to be a great singer, while his prants wanted him to inherit their family shoe workshop, and more importantly all of Miguels family members hated music. And all Miguel do was to pursue his dreams, which by chance he turned to be a ghost and met his relatives who have been dead for many years. In the end of the movie, Miguel came back to real life and found out the most important things in his life-that is his family.Step 3. Production (10 minutes) Ask some audiences to share their thoughts about the stories and how can he be a good storyteller. From those stories, what they can learn and write down on the notebook. 实践结果分析与讨论Results:1. Over 95% students can listen carefully and maybe take some notes. 2. About the speaking practice, most students could open their mouth to do the role-play, but still some students were afraid of expressing themselves.Analysis and discussion: Most students have already mastered certain skills of reading, writing and speaking when they were learning Unit 7. So they can do the practice well. But their words foundation is bad, so they often meet some difficulties. Luckily, by doing group work and pair-work, they can help each other and compensate for each other. The students of this age are very active. They are eager to show themselves and like to be praised. So adopting more interactive practice and cooperation activities are beneficial to them to increase their interest. But some students
