Hi, judges. Its my great honor to be here sharing my teaching design. Today my topic is unit 6 of grade 7 Im watching Tv. My teaching plan contains 5 parts: analysis of the teaching material, analysis the teaching aims, the teaching important and difficult points, teaching procedures and blackboard design. I will interpret them one by one. Firstly, lets come to part 1: Analysis of the teaching material: in this class, well learn the fifth period of this unit. My class is 2a-2c in section B. Its the importent part of this unit and the main topic is about the different culture, so its very important for students to have a good beginning. Secondly, I will talk about the teaching aims. According to the new standard,I set the teaching aims as follows: the knowledge aims is to grasp the new words and phrases such as, dragon boat festival, miss , living room . The ability aim is to improve he students reading skills. And the emotional aim is to develop their habits of being kind to their parents. Thirdly, I will point out the teaching important and difficult points. In this lesson, mastering the phrases is very important. And the teaching difficult point is to teach the students how to understand and use the phrases Fourthly, I will interpret the most important part, the teaching procedures. In order to achieve the teaching aims,I design the following steps. Step 1. Lead-in : First of all, I will show some pictures: many famous actress .And then I will ask my students, What is he or she doing?. And students answer, They are running, I ask, do you like running? What time do you usually run? The purpose of this step is to review the old knowledge and lead in 2a. Then we come to step 2 presentation: After I show a video, I will ask students: What time do people usually do this? The students must say Duanwujie. And then I will ask the students , how do you say Duanwujie in English?then I show some pictures, present the new words, dragon, dragon boat festival, and Ill present others new words in the same way . The purpose of this step is to raise the students interests and lead them to grasp the new words . After they get the words, I will let them open their books and read the passage fast, then finish task 1 , Then its time for step 3 listening. Before listening I will ask the students to repeat follow the tape, and finish the task of 2. After listening and reading, I will check their answers. The purpose of this step is to develop their listening and reading skills. As we all know, the more practice, the better we are, so next is step 4 practice. Practice reading the passage again . And ask them to work with their partner in 3 minutes. Then I will ask some groups to show their reading to the class. It can improve their spoken English and its also a kind of output. After finishing the content of the class, well move to step 5 summary. In order to catch the language points, I will ask the students to summarize what we have learned in this lesson. And never forget the last point homework. I will ask the students to write a passage whats your parents doing now. The purpose of this step is to let the students consolidate the knowledge we have learned in the class. Finally, the blackboard design. Here is my blackboard. In the top of the blackboard.
