Unit 2 Plant a PlantLesson 8 Why are plants important? 教材分析本单元围绕“植树”这个话题，学习和了解植树的重要性及如何栽树。课文“The Great Green Wall”讲述了森林对人类的重大作用。通过学习课文和对话，进一步复习、归纳了被动语态的用法，重点学习了含有情态动词的被动语态的构成，讲述了英语中长、宽、高的表示方法，学习了一些常用词汇和日常交际用语及重点句式：The more, the better；教会了我们如何书写notice。 教学目标【知识与能力目标】（1）学会句型Didyoudosthyesterday？并能用该句型结合情景做对话。（2）学习一般过去时的用法。（3）掌握以下单词的读音和意义：plant/planted,watch/watched,wash/washed,cook/cooked.【过程与方法目标】通过网上查找资料，听课文录音和请教高年级学生等方式，初步掌握掌握课文背景和句型。通过小组合作学习进一步提高单词的拼读能力。通过全班展示和教师点拨熟练掌握课文知识并能在实际中运用。【情感态度价值观目标】握含有情态动词被动语态的构成形式及其肯定、否定和疑问形式。同时还要学会英语中关于长、宽、高、深等的表达方式。4学会写notice，要注意它的格式和组成部分。可参考Lesson 44。 教学重难点【教学重点】“The Great Green Wall”，理解它的重要性，进一步确立Work hard to make our world more beautiful!的观念。【教学难点】so that, beep from, thanks to, more or less等的用法。 课前准备 图片，PPT 教学过程Step 1.Analysis of the student.Homework check.Review:The grammarword building.Review:In last lesson,we learned that how to plant trees, and we knew that the trees were important for us.Step 2.
