云南德宏州芒市第一中学高中英语 unit5 hero period 3 grammar教案 新人教版必修1Unit 5, from the perspective of a young black man named Elias, tells a story about Nelson Mandela from whom we could learn what he had done for the blacks rights and further sorts out some qualities a great person is supposed to have. From Mandelas experience, this unit tries to guide students to learn or cultivate themselves those great personalities like Mandela and other great men, tries to give hands to those classmates and friends who are in troubles around them and to be a warm-hearted man in this world. Totally, along with period 1 Warming up and speaking, this unit mainly concerns five parts according to the theme, contents, teaching objectives and the whole teaching procedures. The specific divisions are as followings:Period 1Warming up and speakingPeriod 2-ReadingPeriod 4GrammarPeriod 5-6Listening and writingPeriod 7Using language(exercise)The 4th Period GrammarDirect Speech and Indirect SpeechStatements and QuestionsA. Teaching content and analysisContent: .1.To review the definition and the classification of direct speech and indirect speech.2. To specify the grammar points to the statements and questions parts.3. To know some variation in the transition from direct speech to indirect speech.Analysis: Students are expected to know the usage and basic structures and variation of the grammar points through the reviewing of the key points.B. Teaching goals and analysisGoals:1. Enable the Ss to grasp the definition, kinds and use of attributive clause.2. Enable the Ss to know how to use the grammar points in speaking and writing.3. Enable the Ss to grasp the key words and expressions related.Analysis:Ss are expected to apply what they have learn to practice by fulfilling some spoken and written tasks.C. Teaching key points and difficult points1. To distinguish the difference of where, when and which/whom.D. Predicting problems and analysis1. The teacher should make a good preparation for the pre-class to help our students understand the concept and category better. Because of their poor basis, they may not be familiar with some words, phrases, sentences, definition and so on.2. The teacher should introduce some skills properly so that it enables students work out many questions of this grammar learning.3. The teacher must pay more attention to students feedback in the class and timely adjust.E. Teaching Methods1. Review, explanation, and consolidation.2. Make every student work in class.3.
