How to make the students learn to use the vocabulary.Teaching approach: task-based teaching, group work, discussionTeaching Aids:Multi-mediaTeaching procedures:Step1: Lead-in: Word GameStep2: Pre-listening: Read about the questions in Activity 2 and 3, and then work in pairs to predict what the dialogue is about.Step3: While-listening: 1) Focus on the questions in activity 2. Listen to the tape and try to understand the dialogue by answering the questions. 2) Work in pairs to share the answers. Try to explain your answers. 3) Call back answers from the students. 4) Listen again and complete the sentences to get more detailed information about the dialogue. 5) Listen to the whole dialogue and try to appreciate it.Step4: Post-listening: Share part of the tape script with the students, and explain some important points.break the law in order to drug addictioncommit crimes in other words get into troubleThats incredible!
