(Help)Step 2 Presentation and chain drill1. T (acting some actions and say): Im reading a book./ Im writing?etc.2. Show a picture and say You are the person in the picture. T: What are you doing? C: Im doing homework. Ss repeat What are you doing? Im doing homework.Get a team of students to say the conversation without seeing it.(A asks B, B asks C .)Do the same with other pictures. (T: Who can ask/answer?) Learn clean and talk on the phoneStep 3 Practice1. Show some pictures and let the students ask and answer in pairs. e.g -What are you doing ? -I am talking on the phone. 2. Some pair of students show their conversations. Step 4 Presentation and chain drill1. Show a picture and say You are the people in the picture. T: What are you doing? C: Were playing computer games. Ss repeat What are you doing? Were playing computer games. Get another team of students to say the conversation without seeing it.(A asks B, B asks C .)Do the same with other pictures. (T: Who can ask/answer?)Learn riding bikesStep 5 Practice1. Show some pictures and let the students ask and answer in pairs. E.g - What are you doing ? -Were riding bikes. 2. Some pair of students show their conversations.Step 6 Match Section A (1a)Say: Look this is Happy Apartment. (learn apartment) Some people live in the happy apartment. What are they doing now?Lets go and see.1. Ss match the words with the activities. 2. Check the answers by sayingDoing homework is Picture d.Step 7 Listening Section A (1b)Say: Bob and his friends also live in the happy apartment. Now Bob is talking with Jenny on the phone. What are they talking about. Lets listen carefully.1. Ss listen and write numbers from1a.2. Check the answersStep 8 Presentation1. Ask and answer about Jenny and John with class. T: What is Jenny/John doing? C: She/He is . The whole class repeat the conversations.2. Show a picture and ask Whats he doing? Help the students to answer He is playing basketball. Some pair of students play some guessing games. 2. Section A (2c) Look at the picture. Guess what the people are doing. Students read the model. And then do 2c in pairs. Step 13 Practice1.
