This might be the reason why kids would rather turn to consult opinions from their peers, instead of that of their parents. Many parents put the blame on the different values and beliefs, when they find that they have lost influence on their children and that their kids are hard to approach. Although it is rare to see consistent conflict in one family, it is still very necessary for both generation to evaluate themselves, and use the results of the evaluation as a guidance to bridge the generation gap.
