1、牛津初中英语8A Unit 6 NaturaldisastersReading教案设计江苏省扬州市高邮车逻初级中学 张华一、教材分析本节课是牛津初中英语8A Unit 6 Naturaldisasters阅读的第一课时,该部分主要是围绕一名地震幸存男孩Timmy在1999年台湾大地震震前、震中、震后的描述以及自救和被救情况,使学生对于地震有基本了解,并且初步学会应对灾害和突发事件。故事以第一人称方式叙述,让学生更深刻地体会到遭遇地震的恐惧不安和死里逃生的感觉。课前我在网上搜索了一些自然灾害和地震的视频,目的是能给学生更直观的视觉和听觉效果,从而最大程度地激发学生的阅读兴趣。引导学生掌握一定的阅
2、读技巧,了解文章的基本概况,多方位培养学生的阅读能力,引导学生化知为能。并把德育教育,安全知识渗入课堂,培养学生勇敢、不畏艰难的精神,激发学生热爱生命及自我保护意识。二、学情分析在本单元的第一课时中,学生已学习了有关天气及自然灾害的相关内容,说明学生头脑里已经构建了有关自然灾害的词汇,为进一步谈论台湾地震这一话题奠定了基础。本课时是本单元的阅读版块的第一课时,学生在这堂课上既可以巩固前面所学的语言知识,又可以通过充分的阅读和说进一步发展语言运用能力。通过本节课的学习,学生将会对地震方面的有关知识有更深入的了解,并能初步学会基本自我保护的方法。三、教学目标(一)知识目标:1、通过课文的学习,了解
3、台湾地震的相关信息,并掌握课文中出现的新词和新的表达方式。2、掌握课文的大意,弄清文章结构,能根据提示复述课文内容。(二)能力目标:1、培养学生根据关键词和语境猜测大意的能力;2、通过积极参与课堂语言活动(如讨论、表演、游戏等),培养学生良好的听、说、读、写的综合语言运用能力。3、培养学生课堂学习中合作探究和解决问题的能力。(三)情感目标:1、通过对文章内容的分析和理解,引导学生学会用正确的心态去面对自然灾害。2、培养学生勇敢、不畏艰难的精神,激发学生珍爱生命及自我保护意识;3、通过开展小组活动,培养学生相互间合作探究,互帮互助的团队精神。(四)教学重点:1、了解有关地震的基本知识及其危害;
4、2、理解课文大意并理清事情发生的顺序; 3、小组合作讨论如何在地震中自我保护。(五)教学难点:1、让学生通过多种阅读方法来搜索信息,找出答案,解决问题的阅读技巧;2、进一步理解、应用过去进行时。3、培养学生用英语口语表达自己的观点,发展说的能力,深入挖掘文章。 (六)教学准备:1、上网查找相关资料,了解地震对人类造成的伤害以及在地震中如何自救。2、预习课文,包括熟读单词及文章,思考课后的问题等。3、多媒体课件。四、教学策略:1、运用“情境教学、任务型教学”等教学途径,培养学生综合语言运用的能力。2、在教学中,突出交际性,注重启发性,并进行情感和策略调整,以形成积极的学习态度,促进学生语言实际运
5、用能力的提高。3、在教中学,学中用,用中学。五、学习策略:1、认真预习,利用互联网或其它媒体收集地震材料。2、培养学生形成良好的阅读策略,利用Timmy的心理变化:害怕-恐慌-希望-生存,掌握课文大意。3、培养学生动手能力、分析、复述课文,确定在用中、做中、交流中学习英语的思想。六、教学过程及活动Step 1.
