1、 Unit 6 body and mind (说 课 稿)Good afternoon, teachers, Its my great pleasure to be here sharing my lesson with you. The content of my lesson is Senior English unit 6(body and mind）Ill be ready to begin this lesson from five parts. Analysis of the teaching material, the teaching methods, the studying

2、 methods, the teaching procedure, Blackboard design ,and teaching reflection. Part 1 Teaching Material: 1. Firstly let me introduce the teaching material. The reading passage is the center of this unit. It is made up of several parts, that is,. The text is the most important one and contains most of

3、 the vocabulary and grammar points that students should learn in this unit. This unit talks about body and mind. By describing topic around how to keep healthy for the under-five children, the students can know more information the healthy problem of the children. Secondly, I want to tell something

4、about the students. Although the students have the basic abilities of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, they still need many opportunities to practice what they have learned, to express their ideas, feelings, and experience and to develop their autonomous learning ability and cooperative le

5、arning ability 2 .teaching aims Next Id like to talk about teaching aims and demands According to the new standard curriculum and the syllabus (新课程标准和教学大纲), after studying the teaching material and analyzing the rule of childrens growing of mind, I think the teaching aims are the followings: (1.) Kn

6、owledge objects: Knowledge objects of this section are (a) to help students to understand and master the words, phrases and sentence patterns. Make sure the students can hear, read, and use the main sentence patterns. (b) the students can understand the content of the lesson: (c) the students can us

7、e the patterns to express their thoughts in proper situation And learn how to describe people with adjective. (2)Ability objects: Ability objects of this section are. (a)To develop the Ss abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Especially speaking and writing ability.(b) to train the

8、students to obtain the reading skills of guessing ,fast reading ,scanning, and develop their ability to find the topic, try to grasp the key information and to reorganize it. (c) The three ways of guessing the new words in the passage(d) To train the Ss ability of working in pairs and learn to coope

9、rate with each others (3).Emotion objects:(a) Enable the students to pay more attention to our body and care our life, ourselves. By reading (b) 2 to learn to realize the importance of healthy, the usual ways to keep healthy, and use this information to guide our daily life 3. teaching key points an

I say one of the teaching difficult is how to enable the students to use new words and phrases in proper situation all through their daily life The key point: is how to enable the students to master the reading skills,

11、such as skimming, scanning, detailed reading and enable the students to talk about how to keep our body healthy 1.important words: meditation ; jog ; weight lift ; parental ; child-minder ; publication ; routine ; toddler ; pushchair ; inactive ; in time to ; convinced ; structured ; tot ; have an e

12、ffect on ; 2. difficult sentence patterns1) Toddlers , though , spend most of the time in front of the television or sitting in a pushchair and / or high chair. 2) She suggests that parents should begin exercises with very small babies, moving their legs and arms gently in time to music. 3) As child

13、ren grow, they should follow an exercise program using soft balls, household furniture and play equipment. Part 2 Teaching Methods:Well, how to achieve the teaching objects better, how to stress the important points and break through the difficult points? According to the analysis of the teaching ma

14、terial and the students learning background ,I will use the following methods . “Communicative” Approach(交际教学法), “Whole language teaching” (整体语言教学法) and “Task-based” language teaching (任务教学法). That is to say, Ill let the Ss to get a better understanding of the key structure of the dialogue. Accordin

15、g to the modern social communication teaching theories(现代社会交际教学理论), I adopt the Situational Language Teaching method(情景教学) Task-Based Language Teaching method (语言任务教学) in my teaching. Part 3 Studying Methods Students of this stage are quick in thought and they are eager to show what they know and th

16、ey have a certain ability to read .But they are lack of geography knowledge , the cultural background of those foreign countries and the courage to express they ideas. Therefore, Accessful leader should care for their learning strategy，in this lesson，I will teach my students to master the following

17、strategy； 1）Basic learning strategy； The students can get the meaning of the words and phrase 2）Practice strategy； Practice can help the students get the general idea and have a better understanging of the language. And Communication strategy In a ward, Ill 1.Teach the students how to be successful
