This book is about ordinary peasants with extraordinary personalities. It described how they struggled for fate, how they struggled for a better lif

3、e in the 1970s to 1980s.Next, Im going to share my impression on this book. In fact, Ive read this novel twice. The first time was on last summer holiday. At that time, I was a loser, a loser on emotion and a failure, a failure on college entrance examination. I didnt get the grade I was supposed to

4、. So, I read this novel when I was down, in the deep valley of my life. This novel was encouraging. The hero in this novel suffered more setbacks than me, but he went through all difficulties bravely. His sprits inspired me and gave me courage to get out of the depression. So, at that time, I regard

5、ed this book as an equivalent to another inspiring novel, The Making of Steel, written by a famous Russia writer.The second time I read this novel was on last Spring Festival. At that time, I concerned more on villagers daily lives and their relationships. This novel gave me a better compression abo

6、ut the countryside in the 1970s to 1980s. And surprisingly, I found that I fell in love with the heroine. In my imagination, the heroine was a beautiful, pure angel with charming eyes and sweet smile. I even cried when she jumped into the flood to rescue the endangered people and then, was swept awa

7、y by the flood. I did cry. Three days ago, I found that there was a TV series based on this novel. Therefore, I searched for the heroine. Guess what？Oh, my goddess. The actress was so ordinary that the image was totally destroyed. So, do not watch that TV series. Read the book instead. The book can

8、open up your imagination and give you pleasure, while TV can limit your thoughts and gradually, destroy your imagination. And Im planning to read this novel again this winter holiday. Before reading it, I will read some books about psychology and philosophy to gain the basic knowledge. Then, when re

9、ading the book, I will focus more on their actions, their values, their world views. Every action, no matter it is conscious or not, there is a psychological affection behind. So, I want to study their psychological activities through their behaviors. Of course, there are still many things that dese
