I think if I want to improve my students oral English, I must give them more chances to practice. That is “learning by doing, learning by using ”. In this case, I designed a lot of tasks acco

11、rding to New English Curriculum. I will lead my students to studyand cooperate with each other. Because New English Curriculum points out that thegeneral aim of English teaching in this stage of Junior Education is to cultivate studentscomprehensive ability of using English. I think my teaching meth

12、ods are in line with the requirement of New English Curriculum.I will also use multi-media. I think, if I want my students to keep interested in English, I must try my best to attract their attention. I want to use this word activities to lead in this class. (Purpose:Students a

16、re usually interested in their teachers. So I m sure it can attract studentsattention.they will be very happy to see that. Also in a relaxing way, they open their mouths to speak freely and at the same time it can provide situations to learn new knowledge for the next step. ) Step3.Presentation (8 m

17、inutes)Purpose: To present the key words one by one for the students to learn and grasp the meaning. Pictures can provide a real situation for students to understand the words and conversation better.This part is very important, so Ispend morell time on it.1. Review the sentence structures: read-rea

18、ding-Im reading . Get the students to practice in groups.2. Ask the students to make some sentences.3.Get the students to say the sentences out according to the pictures given. Students like new challenge, so it will arouse their interest. It can give the students more chance to practice using the t

19、arget language.Purpose: To form a better surrounding for the students to practice the conversations and let the students know the differentce between Present Progressive and Present Simple. .This part is important part, it ll take8minutesusabout.Iwill lead my students tofinish three steps to breakth

20、rough the difficult point in this lesson.1.Train the sentence: I do sports every day. I am doing sports now.2 Let Ss know the difference between Present Progressive and Present Simple.3.Do some exercises .Step5. Reading and writing(17minutes)Purpose: To develop the studentscommunication and oral wri

21、ting ability.This part is the most important, it will take us about seventeen minutes.1. Make a sentence dragon. I will use it to strengthen and breakthough the emphasis of this lesson.And it will be the high point in this lesson2. Teach new words :dragon, dragon boat, Dragon Boat Festival. Boat rac

22、es ect.3.2b.Read a passageabout what Zhu Hui and other people are doing on Dragon Boat Festival. Ask them to answer some questions. Then find the sentences that make up by be+ving.4. Watch a video. Then ask the students to say a short passage in groups. Students are at the age of 13 or 14, they are

23、eager to show their abilities. To get the students to work together and lead them to learn to cooperate with others. They can have a good chance to improve their speaking skill and they can use what they have learnt.Step 6. Review and have a test.(6 munites)Purpose: To help Ss to recycle and check w

24、hat they have learned today.1. Let students say something about what they have learned today. 2.Have a test in class.Then check the answers with their partners. Step 7. Have a chant.
