This lesson is the first period of this unit. It includes two parts: Le

2、ts learn and Lets do. In section 1, it mainly deals with five new words about the different rooms in a house: study, bathroom, bedroom, living room, kitchen. Also, there are some sentence patterns, eg. “This is my home.” and “You can see a .”In section 2, it presents five phrases: read a book, take

3、a shower, have a sleep, watch TV, have a snack. After learning this part, students will be able to do the relevant actions according to the different orders.Part TwoAnalysis of the Students Students of Grade 4 have learned English regularly for one or two years. They have accumulated some words and

4、sentence patterns and grasped some methods and skills of learning English. Also, they have deep interest in English study.At the same time, students of this age are mostly very active, they have strong imitative ability and thirst for knowledge. So in order to lead the students make language useful

5、and practical, we should design more meaningful language application activities in the process of teaching.On the other hand, since students of this age havent formed a good sense of the English language, we teachers should pay more attention to their pronunciation. Use the new words and sentence patterns to introduce their homes.Part Five Teaching MethodsAs we all know: The main instructional aims of teaching English in primary school is to culti

9、vate pupils basic abilities of their listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson Ill mainly use the TSA( Total Situational Action ) and TPR ( Total Physical Response ) teaching methods. That is to say, I will let the students learn in real situations. I wil

10、l arrange four activities: guessing game, lets do, having a competition and introducing your home. At the same time, make use of modern electricity teaching equipments and all kinds of teaching means, it can mobilize the students enthusiasm and creativity in learning English. Students should prepare

11、 some pictures of their homes.Part Six Teaching Procedures and Purposes of My DesigningIn order to realize the teaching process systematically, properly and efficiently, under the principle of “ regard students as the corpus, the teacher inspires for predominance”, I divide the teaching process into
