1、高中英语阅读课教学案例Book 3 Unit1信息技术与学科教学整合的教学设计一、教学内容本课是一般高中课程标准试验教科书英语(人教版)必修3 Unit 1 Festivals around the world 的Reading部分。 教学过程中,对本单元的内容进行了重组。本单元的中心话题是“节日”,单元各项活动的设计都是围绕一些中外节日主题进行的。上一课时的Warmingup and Speaking,通过填写表格,谈论节日,为阅读课文做好了铺垫。阅读(reading)部分由五篇小短文组成,其中四篇带有小标题,它们分别介绍古代节日的起源,亡灵节、纪念名人的节日、丰收节、春天的节日等,使同学了
2、解各种节日的由来及存在的意义。大多数最古老的节日,主要是因庆祝冬天的结束、春天的播种、秋天的丰收以及猎人猎取到的猎物而产生。鬼节是为祭祀亡灵、纪念祖先而进行的节日,例如日本的盂兰盆节(Obon),墨西哥的亡灵节、西方的万圣节(Halloween)等。 纪念名人的节日有中国的端午节,美国的哥伦布日,印度的甘地纪念日。春天的节日包括中国的春节,西方的狂欢节、复活节、日本的樱花节等。二、设计思路一般高中英语课程标准对阅读技能的教学提出了明确的要求:“教学目的:培育阅读策略;培育语感;特殊强调培育同学在阅读过程中猎取和处理信息的力量。基本技能;略读;找读;猜测下文;理解大意;分清文章中的事实和观点;猜
3、想词义;推理推断;了解重点细节;理解文章结构、图表信息、指代关系、规律关系、作者意图;评价阅读内容。”依据这一要求,教学目的方面,让同学通过阅读明白节日是人们在长期的生产活动中形成的庆祝或纪念性的日子。反过来,节日又对人们的生产生活产生肯定的影响。在了解各种节日基本学问的同时,还要明白,因文化背景的不同,世界各国对于一些类似节日的庆祝方式也不尽相同,从而引导同学更深化地理解各国节日意义,激发同学学习英语文化的爱好。阅读技能方面,进一步训练同学略读(scanning),猜想词义(word-guessing )、细读(close-reading) 归纳内容(summarizing)、对比(comp
4、aring)等阅读技巧,把握篇章中心内容猎取有关节日的关键信息,并且针对这些信息表达自己的观点,发挥同学的制造力和想象力,同时把握本课的词汇和语法结构。三、教学目标1、语言目标通过阅读课文和老师的指导,同学能够正确地理解文章的内容,进一步的练习、谈论之后,能够把握课文中的重点词汇, 如,belief, gain, have fun with,take place, admire, play a trick on dress up,religious,award, gather, as though,look forward to, 和情态动词can, may,must, could, shou
5、ld, shall ,might,cant 的用法。通过阅读技能训练,提高同学自主阅读的力量,鼓舞同学以思考、对比、争辩等方式,进展听、说、读、写的综合技能。2、力量目标通过了解世界各国的节日的起源、庆祝活动挂念同学拓宽视野,提高文化素养,加强跨文化沟通意识。通过总结文章的大意和回答问题,培育同学快速把握文段大意和捕获有效性信息的力量,同时练习听和说。读后写一篇介绍自己最宠爱的节日的文章,培育同学的语言综合运用力量。3、情感目标通过阅读激发同学对节日文化的爱好,特殊是增进对中国的节日的理解,培育同学的爱国主义精神和文化爱护意识。四,教学重点和难点本节课的重点在于有关节日的生词、短语及相关的文化
6、学问对中外节日文化异同的鉴别,培育和提高同学阅读技能,进而达到语言的输出写作。五、教学预备同学应当做的预备(1)预习课文(2)查找相关资料,了解文章中涉及到的一些节日的信息。老师应做的预备(1)设计本课的预习任务(2)制作课件六、教学过程Step I Leading-inShow a group of pictures of the Spring Festival. 17、eacher should explain some difficult words ,phrases as well as special sentence patterns.Sentence focus: 1.)Most ancient festivals would celebrate the end of the cold weather古老的节日经常庆祝寒冷的结束would用在此处表示过去的习惯、习性、倾向等,意思是“过去经常”常与often, frequently,sometimes, for hours等连用。eg: When I was a child, I would oft
18、en go skiing, 我小时候常去滑雪。Duing the time he was abroad, he would get up at six every day.在国外的那段日子里,他每天六点起床。2)At that time people would starve if food was difficult to find.那时候假如很难找到食物,人们就会挨饿。food was difficult to find.是“主语+be+adj.+不定式”结构,其中food是find的规律宾语。The problem is really hard to work out. 这问题很难算出来
19、。My boss is easy to get along with. 我的上司很简洁相处。3)Some festivals are held to honour the dead, or to satisfy the ancestors, who might rerurn either to help or to do harm.有些节日,是为了纪念死者,或者使祖先满足,由于有可能回到世上(给人们)供应挂念,也有可能带来危害。Honour C 带来荣誉的人或事He is an honour to his school.他是学校引以为荣的人。I take her visit as a grea
20、t honour.我认为她的来访是我莫大的光荣。U 敬重;名誉;荣誉Everyone should show honour to their parents.人人都应孝敬父母。Vt.敬重,给以荣誉Will you honour us with a visit? 可否光临指教?in honour of 纪念; 向表示敬意do honour to sb.=do sb. Honour 对某人表示敬意,礼遇某人Many people attended his farewell party to do him honour. 很多人出席送别会以向他表示敬意。4.)On this important fe
21、ast day, people eat food in the shape of skulls and cakes with“bones”on them.在这重要的节庆日子里,人们会吃制成颅骨外形的食物,和装饰有“骨头”的蛋糕。Toms birthday cake was in the shape of a train.汤姆的生日蛋糕是火车外形。5.)It is now a childrens festival, when they can dress up and go to their neighbours homes to ask for sweets.现在它成为了一个孩子们的节日,在这个节日里孩子们装扮好到邻居家里要糖果吃。when用做关系副词,引导定语从句,when在从句中作时间状语。Ill never forget the day when I joined the Party.6.)India has a national festival on October2 to honour Mohandas Gandhi, the leader who helped gain Indias independence from Britain.印
