The finalization of the game serves the player and it is necessary to understand the characteristics of the service object. The

The interpreter should communicate with the game company or the distribution platform to understand the po

When translating, they must conform to the language habits of Chinese players and should be concise and clear. This dissertation also uses a method based on teleology to an

This paper also innovatively uses the methods of text categories to propose translation strategies from different translation perspectives by classifying different texts. Trainor (2009) introduced game translation from two aspects of game content and text. Mi

He believes that the complete translation process should include five steps, namely, estimation and preparation, terminology arrangement, marking, translation and editing and proofreading, three

When faced with the culture-loaded words in the game, he proposed the following translation strategies: alienation, domestication, compromise, omission and recreation. Zhang (2016) g

Because of the variety of games and the variety of games, the system of peer-to-peer translation theory can no longer meet the re

Functional Skopos theory aims at the purpose of communicative translation, and the flexible or partially unfaithfulness in game translation provides a theoretical basis. The game translator should first clarify the role of the original text in the original context, an

42、alyze the aesthetic requirements and acceptance ability of the translation target player, and then use the words that match the game style to smoothly reproduce the meaning of the original text. Xie (2016) discussed that as a non-literary work, the text of the game belongs to the text of information

43、, which aims to convey the information of the original text. The author first discusses from two aspects: words and words of the language features of the game, the translation Skopos theory and the analysis of text type theory, on basis of the language of the game of word, sentence and discourse gra

Under the guidance of the Skopos theory, the purpose of Chinese traditional culture is to take into accounting the great and profound Chinese traditional culture and the purpose of the target

The strategic purpose of the Chinese translation of conventiona

For this brief process may need to copy some source culture behavior, and habits of other target culture adaptation,

52、the translator can safely assume that most meet the specification of the target language system, but there may be some cases, the source language specification must be replicated, for instance in a linear translation on the purpose of language. At the last two levels, the remaining questions must fi

People always want to show their attitudes to the works, but all of them exist reasonably, people cant ignore the aim of translation to judge good or not. The contrast of the two dif

Zhu (2014) discussed that the spread of foreign films and TV

56、 series has brought the heat of subtitle translation. This paper takes English-Chinese translation as an example to introduce the different subtitle translation principles and styles of Skopos theory. Although the principle of purpose plays a decisive role in the translation process, the principle o

In addition, translators tend to use when dealing with different type of movie for a different style of translation, it is determined according to the degree of purpose, on basis of the Skopos theory.Space of the studyThere is

58、very little research on game translation today. As a booming industry, research on game translation has become increasingly necessary. It is not difficult to find that teleology has been applied in translation in many fields, and it is still rare to combine it with the practice of video game transla

The vigorous development of the electronic gaming industry and the diversified evaluation criteria of the functional teleology show that the combination of the two is not only feasible but also inevitable.Skopos TheoryThe term Skopos is often used to refer to the purpose of the translation.
