1、巧设任务,培养阅读能力- 初一英语(下) Module 5 Unit 2教学案例分析 永康市实验学校 楼颂萍一、 教材分析本堂课以家乡为题材,通过学习对方位与位置等进行口头说明、询问,了解英国地理位置,学习单音节形容词的比较级及其用法,开展听说读写等活动,并激发学生热爱祖国大好河山,热爱家乡的美好情感。教学扩展比较贴近学生生活,容易引起学生共鸣,激发学习兴趣,有利于培养学生的理解运用能力。二、教学目的与要求1.认知目标a)掌握词汇 river, church, famous, capital, lake, low, mountain, about, near, village, region,

2、 east, south, north,west,in the east / west / north / south of, on the River Cam/Thames, be famous for, the capital of, an old city, on the coast, an island。b) 学习句型Whats the population of? Shanghai is bigger than Hong Kong. London is a capital of England.2.能力目标a)听:使学生能听懂与课文难易程度相当的听力材料;b)说:使学生掌握询问方位与

3、位置并能运用其进行口,笔头练习;能仿照课文中的句型对自己,父母,同学,家乡等进行比较;c)读:能阅读与与课文难易程度相当的对话,语音语调准确流畅,并回答教师所提出的问题;d)写:能写出单音节形容词的比较级,能运用比较级对两个城市、河流、+人物等进行比较,并写下简单的句子。3.情感态度目标a)通过询问说明位置,培养学生与他人沟通,学会合作的能力;b)通过学习英国介绍,了解英国位置、地理知识,并仿照范文介绍家乡,培养学生对祖国美好山河的热爱,激发学生对家乡的热爱;c)通过小组合作学习讨论,培养学生的团结互助精神和自主合作学习能力。三、教学重点与难点1. 学习单音节形容词比较级的构成及其用法;2.

4、学习方位、位置的表达,了解英国地理知识、中国地图、各大城市在中国的位置、家乡介绍。3. 重点句型Whats the population of? is bigger/newer/ hotter/cooler than London is in the south of England.等。四、教学过程:Step 1.Free talk T: Hello, everyone. Today many new teachers come to our class. What do you want to say to them?S: Welcome to our class, teachers.T:

5、 OK. They want to know something about our class and us students. Would you like to show them our best performance?S: Yes, wed like to.T: Great! Yesterday we learned something about Shanghai and Hong Kong. What do you know about them?S1: Shanghai is seven hundred years old. S2: Hong Kong is hotter t

6、han Shanghai .S3: Shanghai is an older city than Hong Kong .S4: Shanghai is bigger than Hong Kong,S5: (导入简洁自然,不拖泥带水。此环节目的在于充分发挥学生的主观能动性,营造宽松和谐的课堂氛围,为下一步的英语阅读教学任务作好准备和铺垫。)Step 2 Read the map T: Great! Shanghai and Hong Kong are both big cities in China. Today we are going to learn about some other ci

(Beijing, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Urumuqi)T: Where is Beijing ?S1: Beijing is in the north of China.T: Where is Guangzhou?S2: Guangzhou is in the south of China.T: Where is Nanjing ?S3: Nanjing is in the east of

8、 China.T: Where is Urumuqi ?S4: Urumuqi is in the west of China.Students read after the teacher: in the south /north / east / west of Now lets talk about some big cities in the UK. Where are they? 16、is the capital of China.S: Beijing is in the north of China.S; Beijing is an old city, its famous for .S: (使学生由对课文简单的词句理解变为应用,并通过简单的句型练习融会贯通本课知识点,同时培养学生热爱家乡的美好情感。)Step 6 HomeworkWrite a short passage about our beautiful hometown-Yongkang.(通过写的练习,进一步巩固所学知识,由句到篇,培养学生的篇章组织能力。)五、反思与分析:我认为本堂课可在以下几个方面是值得借

17、鉴的:1、认真分析教材,精心设计活动,创设语言情境教师在明确了任务目标后,精心设计恰当而又有效的活动,积极创设能让学生主动交流的语言环境,把课本材料还原成活生生的交际语言,既紧扣了教材,又抛开了教材。让每个学生进入活动角色,积极用英语思维,通过小组合作,把书本知识内化为实实在在的语言交际能力。语言学习应该使学生形成用英语思维的习惯,在语言情景中使用语言知识,在真实的语言环境中,进行语言的迁移。从教学伊始的Today many new teachers come to our classs.What do you want to say to them?到最后的Groupwork: Talk a

18、bout our hometown教师都注重创设真实的语言环境,课前的热身,新课的导入,课文的梳理,课外的延伸等等一系列的教学环节围绕着语言点展开,联系紧密,环环相扣, 整个教学过程一气呵成,自然流畅。学生对语言点的掌握也令人满意,他们能运用新的语言解决问题,表达自己的思想。注重设计微任务之间的衔接与过渡2、本节课任务与任务之间相互关联,并体现层层递进。随着课堂进程的发展,任务在其语言知识的难度上、内容的拓展上、能力的训练上、意义的启发上都体现了渐进性、发展性。教师在处理各个教学环节的时候,注意每个环节之间的衔接与过度,从开头的Yesterday we learned something ab

Could you tell me about your hometown and country? 这样使整个教学过程形成一个有机的整体,避免给人支离破碎的感觉, 使教学过程显得自然流畅,同时也吸引了学生注意力,激发了学习兴趣,调动了学生的学习积极性,也展示了教师个人魅力,语言魅力,同时它还起到了活跃课堂氛围,调整教学节奏的作用。3. 注重培养学生的团队合作意识与创新意识学生能在小组合作学习中相互学习帮助,克服困难,能合理计划和安排学习任务,积极探索适合自己的学习方法。学会了主动学习,从各方面获得信息并加工处理成为自己所需要的语言交际素材,如Read th

21、e map 与Groupwork: Talk about our hometown等环节中,学生踊跃发言,互帮互助,互相补充。通过合作交流,学生在完成任务的过程中自信心不断增加,并积极思考,勇于探索,勇于创新,既增强了学好英语的信心与决心,又对学生进行了一次集体主义教育,让学生从实际活动中体会到团结力量大的道理。4. 充分发挥学生的主观能动性,营造宽松和谐的课堂氛围学生谈论自己熟悉的话题家乡永康,情绪较高,心情愉悦。学生平等参与、自由使用,有更多的独立性,当学生积极地参与用英语进行交际的尝试时,也就渐渐掌握了运用比较级的语言形式。由于造句(比较)回答为开放性任务,学生在提问和回答时都有可能会犯一些语法错误,我便宽容地对待,即不随意打断,而是让他们先进行交流,然后,请同组内有不同意
