2、oking into the Future)”,阅 读文本的话题是智能家居使生活更加便利(Smart Homes to Make Life Easier),o文中,作者介绍了将来家居的智能化水平,展示了 科技进展能给生活带来许多便利,并引发读者思考这些变化可能产生 的问题。在“将来”和“科技”的主题语境下,作者选择家居生活作 为描写和说明的对象,缩短了读者与主题语境以及文本内容的距离, 有利于引起阅读兴趣,引发读者共鸣。本文是一篇科技小品文。全文五个段落呈现了说明类文本常见的 BTEC的内容结构:第一段介绍了背景(Background)和主题(Topic), 即在目前家居生活不够平安和节能等背

3、景下,提出将来智能家居可以 给我们供应更平安、更节能和更舒适的生活这一主题;第二至第四段 用“智能把握、健康检查和防范灾害”三种功能解释了文本主题 (Explanation);第五段是总结(Conclusion),智能家居时代已经 到来但其推广普及还需要一段时冋。本文的写作目的是为了让读者了 解将来家居的智能化水平及其为生活带来的便利,引导学生结合文章 主题和内容形成对将来科技进展的乐观期盼和全面思考,形成对将来 科技客观理性的态度。三、教学对象及特点:我所授课的班级学生中考英语平均分较低,学生层次不同,存在 肯定差异。不少学生对英语学习的努力程度不够。他们有学好英语的 愿望,但缺乏学习的毅力

4、,没有长期努力的思想预备。他们不愿在英 语学习上多花时间与精力,遇到困难很简洁产生疲惫感,甚至厌烦感。 乐观的学习态度会促进英语水平的提高,而消极的态度会抑制进步。 他们的学习态度主要是建立在兴趣之上的。因此,教师应尽可能召唤 起他们的乐观态度,提升学习效果。要避开一人讲课、众人听课的局 面,多一些互动,吸引学生参与课堂教学。教师要精神饱满地上课, 因为教师的态度会直接影响学生的行为。尽量让课堂布满生气,提高 学生自主学习的能力。高中一年级学生,他们的认知能力比初中阶段有了进一步的发 展,慢慢形成用英语猎取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能 力,因此需要特殊注重提高学生用英语进行思维和表达

5、的能力。他们 学习英语方法由死记硬背转型向理解型并应用到交际上,他们有自己 的学习技能和策略,学会把语言学习与现实生活和兴趣联系起来。通 过任务型课堂活动和学习,学生的学习自主性得到加强,不再认为英 语的课堂学习很枯燥,主动参与到活动中去,成为课堂的主体,同时 也加强了与他人交流合作的能力。四、教学目标:通过速读题目和小标题,提取文本的内容框架,了解写作目 的和目标读者。通过细读前两段,了解将来家居的智能化水平以及它们给生 活带来的便利,并学习相关语言,如:keep us secure, save us energy, and provide a more comfortable enviro

6、nment to live in。通过分析用问句开头和对比等写作手法的作用,提升学生运 用写作技巧表达意图的意识和能力。通过角色代入式复述,巩固内容和语言。五、教学过程:Activity 1: Warming-upDiscuss the possible differences between the household appliances of today and in the future.The teacher initiates the discussion by mentioning her experience of choosing household appl iances
