There is no new words and no new sentence structures. So students should do more to develop their learning ski

For example, they can use the correct adjectives to describe their favourite animals in English , so it is not difficult for them. 二Analysis of the students.The learners in Grade Six, they are really interested in learning English, so most of them are active in class. They like singing, doing T
3、PR, and playing games. But their ways of learning are different, some of them are auditory learners, they just learn the language by listening, while others are visual learners, they understand the language by watching, and some others try the language by doing things. So different activities should
4、 be designed to meet different students needs.三Teaching goals and demands. According to the new national curriculum nowadays, we, teachers, should not only pay attention to helping students lay a good foundation, but also arouse the students interest in using the language. Therefore I make my teachi
5、ng plan as the followings:(1) Aims on the knowledge: A: Help the students to understand the words: bamboo snake sheep.B: Help the students to understand the sentence structures: They love / like /sleep/ play with What are they? They are Aims on the abilities:A: Using the simple present tense to desc
6、ribe some animals. B: talk about their behaviors.Aims on the emotion:A: Develop students reading and speaking abilities.B: Tell the students to love and protect animals.Teaching focus and difficult in teaching.The key-points: Talk about the animal behaviors.The difficult points: How to guide the stu
7、dents to describe their favourite animal in different aspects.Teaching and learning methods:Id like to use the “task-based” way to let students have got more opportunities and freedom to learn the language by listening, speaking, communicating, guessing, creating, having competitions, playing games
8、and so on. In all, let students do things themselves in English in class.Teaching media and aids:PPT video and media pictures and cards.Teaching procedures: Step1:Warming up and greeting.1, Organize the class and greet the whole class .Play the video and sing an English song together.(Design purpose
9、: Create good learning English atmosphere, pay the way for the later teaching.) Step2:Revision and lead-in. 1, revise the words of animals. T: What animals can you see in the video? Ss: I can see.(dog cat cow sheep duck)T: Do you like animals? Lets go to the zoo!2, Let students name the animals in t
10、he zoo in English.3, Play a guessing game. T: Whats this? Ss : Its a panda. T: What are they? Ss : They are pandas. the task: Today, well talk about the animals. And lets see who can be the best friend with the animals.(Design purpose: Arouse the students interest and review the words about animals
11、that we have learned.) Step3:Presentation.bamboo1, (show PPT) T: Whats the panda doing?bamboo Ss: Its eating_ Help the students to answer “bamboo”, then teach the new words in different ways. T: Pandas eat bamboo for twelve hours a day. So the pandas like bamboo very we can say: Pandas love bamboo.(
12、 Design purpose: introduce the topic of the text and write the topic on the blackboard )2, listen and learn the textA: Listen to the video for the first time, let the students find out the answers What animals can you see? Check the answer with the students and show the pictures of animals.B:listen
