我如今已经满五岁了，但是仍旧没有表现出有任何智力，除了我的脚趾头，尤其是我左脚的脚趾头。我对任何事情都没有展示出任何爱好，我过去经常在厨房里仰躺着，四周围围着我的家人，他们很爱我，并且为我祈祷，让我成为家庭的一分子。我当时特别的孤独，囚禁在我自己的世界当中。也不能跟别人去沟通，及世隔绝。和他们之间有一道屏障，我特别盼望可以跟着他们到处跑，但是我却无法从囚禁当中解脱出来。

经过多年的等待，多年的迷茫，这件事发生得突如其来，也颇为简洁，我对当时的状况记忆犹新，似乎一切都是上星期刚发生的一样。当时是一个特别冷的12月份的下午，当时正在下雪，屋外的街道全都覆盖着冰雪。

我这样做了，我弄直我的身体伸出我的左脚，我先写这个字母的第一面，然后把另外一面写完，然后我用的这截粉笔就断了，我特殊想把这只粉笔扔到一边，并且放弃。我感觉到妈妈放在我肩膀的手。我又试了一次，我全身抖着，尽全力去写“A”，我的两只手攥得太紧，指甲都扎进肉里去了。我咬紧牙关，由于咬得太紧，几乎把下唇咬穿。但是我把它画出来了，那个字母“A”，它就在我面前的石板上，左右两个边都很蹩脚，中间的那一横也不直，整下字母歪歪扭扭，不过确确实实是字母“A”。我抬起头来，有一会儿，我看着我母亲的脸，她流下了眼泪。然后我爸爸弯下腰来，把我放到肩膀上。
