Abstract:

Thispaperpresentsadesignofbroadbandhybridharmoniccontrolpoweramplifier.Thepoweramplifierusesharmoniccontroltechnologytoeffectivelylimitthegenerationofharmonics,andadoptsahybridcircuittoachievebroadbandgain.Withthisdesignmethod,lowharmonicdistortioncanbemaintainedoverawidefrequencyrange,andhighefficiencypoweramplifieroutputcanbeobtained.Theprinciplesofhybridharmoniccontroltechnologyandhybridcircuitsareelaboratedindetailinthisarticle,andthedesignschemeissimulatedandexperimentallyverified.Theresultsshowthatthepoweramplifierhasabroadbandgainofupto40dBandalowharmonicdistortionlevelof-30dBcinthefrequencyrangeof600MHzto6GHz.Theoutputpowerofthepoweramplifiercanreach30dBm,whilemaintaininggoodlinearity.Thisdesignschemehaswideapplicationvalueinfrequencyapplicationssuchasmilitaryradar,satellitecommunication,andRFtransmitters.
