自学辅导大纲

一、课程性质、目的和任务

本课程是高等专科教育的•个有机组成部分,是普通高等专科学生的一门必修的基础课

程,当前英语教学是以英语语言知识与应用技能、学习策略和跨文化交际为主要内容,以外

语教学并集多种教学模式和教学手段为一体的教学体系。通过基本技能的训练,重视并提高

阅读基本技能训练和语法应用能力,服务于培养学生运用语言能力的这一目标。

二、课程的教学目标

本课程的教学目标是培养学生英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,使他们能用英语简

单的口头和书面的信息交流,同时增强其自主学习的能力,掌握良好的语言学习方法,打下

较为扎实的基础。教学的主要目的是帮助学生打好语言基础,在此基础上,尽量培养和提高

学生综合应用英语的能力,尤其应加大对听、说、读、写等技能的训练。通过这门课的学习,

学生语言基础牢固,并能够在听、说、读、写、文化修养等方面得到全面的训练和提高,能

用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流,以适应社会发展、经济建设和国际交流的需要。

三、本课程的教学基本要求

1.阅读理解能力:能基本阅读英语国家报刊杂志的大众性、一般性题材的文章,理解

其主要意义,在上学期的基础上进一步提高学生的阅读理解能力。

2.书面表达能力:能就所读一般主题的文章写出其摘要或提纲,能阐述自己对某一问

题的观点,并能基本陈述赞成或反对的理由;能写出规范的II常应用文。

3.翻译能力:能借助词典翻译一般英美报刊上题材熟悉的文章,做到基本准确地传达

原文的意思。能将与专业相关的英语资料摘译为中文,译文符合中文表达习惯。

4.听力理解能力:能听懂题材熟悉、句子结构比较简单、基本上没有生词、语速为每

分钟120字,要听懂简单的谈话、报道和讲座,掌握其中的大意,抓住要点和有关细节,领

会讲话者的观点和态度。

5.口语表达能力:能就教材内容和适当的听力材料进行问题和复述,能用英语进行一

般的日常活动进行简单的交流。

6.语法能力:掌握基本的英语语法规则,在听、说、读、写、译中能正确运用做学语

法知识,并能在日常工作中或者考试中运用语法知识的能力

7.能够掌握一定的词汇量,并通过阅读英语背景文化知识,提高自身的文化素养。
