StephenCrane,TheodoreDreiser,JackLondon,andothers.NaturalismItisamoredeliberatekindofrealism,involvingaviewofhumanbeingsaspassivevictimsofnaturalforcesandsocialenvironment.Thenaturalistwritersattemptedtoachieveextremeobjectivityandfrankness,presentingcharactersoflowsocialandeconomicclasseswhoweredeterminedbytheirenvironmentandheredity(遗传).RepresentativewritersareStephenCrane,FrankNorris,JackLondonandTheodoreDreiser.
