Matteristransformedandcombinedindifferentways,butitdoesn'tdisappear.Everythinggoessomewhere.Theatomsandmoleculesinyourbodyhavepassedthroughmanyotherorganisms,overmillionsofyears.9PropertiesofEnergyEnergycannotberecycled.Energyisreused,butitisconstantlydegradedorlostfromthesystem.Mostenergyusedinecosystemsoriginatesassolarenergy.Greenplantsconvertsomeofthisenergytochemicalenergy,whichisthenconvertedtoheatorkineticenergybytheanimalthateatstheplant.10FirstLawofThermodynamics

Energycannotbecreatedordestroyed,onlychanged
