当地称之为“升旗山”，位于岛屿中部，距乔治市中心约6公里，主峰高830米，为槟城高点，山上空气清新，四周景色一览无遗。登山游客可以选择乘搭缆车，或沿着缆车轨道旁的小径及梯级徒步而上，一路欣赏隐藏在升旗山热带雨林内的奇花异草，沿途并可俯览乔治市的壮丽景色。
