that和which在指物的情况下一般都可以互换,但在下列情况下,一般用that而不用which。(1)先行词为all,everything,nothing,something,anything,little,much等不定代词时。Iamsureshehassomething

限制性定语从句

限制性定语从句

非限制性定语从句表意起限定作用,是必备信息若被省去,原句意义稍显不完整。起说明补充作用,是额外的附加的信息,若被省去,原句意义不受影响。功能修饰限定先行词修饰补充先行词或整个主句形式无逗号与主句分开有逗号与主句分开有可能用到所有的关系词不能用that引导不能用why先行词名词或代词名词或代词,也可以是整个主句。所以,二者意义不同翻译方式不同MysisterwhoworksinShanghaisendsmeanemailalmosteveryday.Mysister,whoworksinShanghai,sendsmeanemailalmosteveryday.我的在上海工作的姐姐几乎每天都给我发电子邮件。言外之意:除了在上海工作的姐姐,还有其他姐姐,需要限定。从句删去后,会表意不明。言外之意:我只有一个姐姐。从句去掉不影响表达。我的姐姐,在上海工作,几乎每天都给我发电子邮件。3,注意:在写作中当先行词是独一无二的事物,人名,地名,独一无二的家庭成员时,其后定语从句应该使用非限制性定语从句。判断下列定语从句使用是否恰当并改正
