Theresearchersextendedtheirmodelingworktoagloballevelandthissuggestedthatwhile
roadsarealsolikelytobethedominantdriverofairborneplasticsinEurope,SouthAmericaand
Australia,plasticparticlesblownupfromfieldsmaybeamuchbiggerfactorinAfricaandAsia.
