In1893,theJohnsHopkinsMedicalSchoolrequiredailapplicantstohave
acollegedegreeandwasthefirsttoafforditsstudentstheopportunity
tofurthertheirtraininginanattachedteachinghospital.Thegrowthof
medicalschoolsattachedwithestablishedinstitutionsoflearningwent
