BritishcompanieshaveproposeddesignsthataremoresuitablethantheX-33andX-34,

buttheyarchandicappedbyagovernment,whichwouldnotpreparetoinvestineven

seedcornstudiesofnewlaunchers.Thelargestnewspaceprojectplannedatpresentis

theInternationalSpaceStation.Theestimatedcostisabout$20billionplusaboutthe
