Analysis of the teaching material 一、Status and Function This unit is mainly about telling past events using the past progressive tense. Let the students talk about what people were doing when the relevant events happened.

3、 The content of this unit is closely related to students daily life, so the students are easy to communicate each other by using what they have learned .,二、 Teaching aims 1. Knowledge Objects Master new words and expressions ,key sentences,grammar(the past progressive tense).,2. Ability Objects (1)R

4、evise the past tense ,learn the past progressive tense。 (2)To develop the students abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. (3) To train the students ability of working in pairs,make the students how to use the past progressive tense in the adverb clause of time leaded by when.,3. Mora
