7、asize the use of penalty, seeing it as one of the most powerful means to maintain their ruling. So it is in China. No matter in which dynasty, you can always find the death penalty. However, in modern society, therere only two ways, the gun and the drug injection. According to the situation in China

14、nce,There is in fact no evidence of a deterrent effect. Lets take United States which has death penalty and Canada which doesnt for example. The homicide rate in Canada is 1.62 per 100,000 inhabitants. In the United States, the rate is 4.8. Some criminals may have the anti-social personality and nev

15、er change behaviors no matter how many chances we give them.,Last, in the perspective of judicial process,The execution can not be changed once the court sentenced the judgments and they may make mistakes.
