1、Book 5 Unit1 The Olympics Lesson 2 Swimming for Gold,一、教材分析,本单元的话题是The Olympics，主要介绍了奥运历史和几个中外奥运健儿及其比赛的情况，以弘扬奥林匹克精神。同时我对本单元内容做了整合，其中Lesson 2：Swimming for Gold和Lesson 6: Diving “Dream Team”分别讲的是我国奥运健儿庄泳和伏明霞夺金的情景。因此我打算学完Lesson 2接着学习Lesson 6。本课的话题是Swimming for Gold，课文是庄泳在1992年巴塞罗那奥运会上获100米自由泳金牌的一篇报道，这是

2、中国运动员获得的第一枚奥运会游泳金牌，是我们全中国人民的骄傲，相信学生对本课的学习充满期待。,二、教学目标,根据英语课程标准的教学理念，教材特点以及我们初三年级学生的情况，我将本课时的教学目标确定如下: 1、知识目标: (1)、掌握词汇:close,race,seem,tie,beat （2）、掌握短语:up and down,the others,set a world record 2、能力目标:用所学知识谈论庄泳和其他游泳运动员。 3、情感目标:培养学生的自信意识、竞争意识和集体荣誉感。 弘扬奥林匹克精神。 4、教学重、难点： （1）、运用所学知识谈论庄泳和其他的游泳运动员。 （2）、掌
