Methods A total of 62 patients with chronic hepatitis B complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis were collected as the research subjects. They were diagnosed from January 2014 -精选财经经济类资料- -最新财经经济资料-感谢阅读- 2 to July 2016. They were randomly assigned to the observation group and the control group， with 31 patients in each group. Both groups were given the same initial treatment protocol of anti- tuberculosis. In addition， the observation group was given entecavir tablets. The liver function indices and HBV-DNA level between two groups were compared before and after the treatment. Results Liver function indices： ALB， ALT and TBIL levels were significantly decreased in both groups after the treatment， and the differences were statistically significant compared with those before the treatment （P0.05）. ALB， ALT and TBIL levels in the observation group after the treatment were even lower than those in the control group， and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant（P0.05）. HBV- DNA level in the observation group after the treatment was even lower than that in the control group， and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant （P0.05）. Conclusion Entecavir has a significant improving effect on the liver function in the patients with chronic hepatitis B complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis， which can greatly inhibit the replication of virus. It is suggested that the application of entecavir be popularized in the patients with chronic hepatitis B complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis. Ke
