铅山县亲情紫小远程(模式一)小学英语四年级下册Unit 6 At a FarmCAI说课稿 A:Lets learn & lets doUnit 6 At a Farm义务教育课程标准实验教科书 英语(PEP)Speaker :Lin LifangZixi Primary School in Yanshan CountyRespectful judges,Thank you for the execution of the program “Long-range Education” in countryside,which provides me such a good opportunity.Today,I am going to talk about the first lesson in unit six “At a Farm”.Analysis of Teaching MaterialsThis lesson is from PEP Primary English Book4 Unit 6.Students have already learned the words about animals and the use of the sentence pattern “How many?”In this lesson,they will know the structure“What are they?They are” According to the teaching materials,I make the following teaching aims:u Aims of knowledge: In this part,it requires students to master the six new words: sheep, lamb,goat,hen,horse,cow;the usage of their plural forms and to use the structure “What are they?Theyare”freely in the situation.u Aims of ability: Students have to tell apart the animals on the farm and to understand the orders in “Lets do”.u Aims of emotion : Help students to establish good study habit and train their sense of loving animals and loving life. The important point of teaching is to enable Ss to master the six words ,and the difficult point is the usage and pronunciation of the words plural forms.Teaching And Learning MethodsBy analysis on the active pupils ,I will mainly use the VCD teaching, situation teaching methods and the task-based learning method.After taking Ss to a farm,Ill present the tasks with the help of VCD. In order to help Ss to finish the tasks effectively,I will design some activities such as “guessing animals” “memory game”.And in competitions,Ill praise Ss from time to time.If they are active in speaking English ,Ill give them a cartoon picture.Its important to keep Ss learning interest.Teaching StepsThirdly,Id like to introduce my teaching steps to you.u 1. Warm-up /Lead-inLets chant.The purpose is to make a relaxing atmosphere for Ss.u 2. PresentationFirstly, present the six new words.Ill take Ss to a beautiful farm full of animals on the screen. Ill ask Ss “What can you see at the farm?”to review the animals they have learned.When I point to the ducks,Ill ask “How many ducks can you see?”to show the plural forms.Then I will point to a group of dogs and monkeys to show the pattern “What are they?They are” and to teach the new words.For instance,Ill ask Ss to guess the animal by listening to the voice.After listening to it ,I will ask them “What is it?”All the Ss know the Chinese answer, so Ill tell them in English”Yes,its a horse,a horse.”Then show the picture of two horses and ask “What are they?”. Ss will try to answer “They are horses.”We shoud pay attention to the pronunciation of “horses”.Now heres another example,when I teach the word cow, I will show these sentences “Its black and white,It likes to eat grass.It can make milk.Whats it ?” Ill say “Good,its a cow,a cow”Then show the picture of two cows to teach the plural form. I will praise them if they give the good answer .And we will read the words like this “cow,cow,cow,cows.; horse,horse,horse,horses”.So Ill teach other new words in such interesting ways. Secondly, present Lets do.By showing the pictures in Lets do, I will show the sentences with actions.For example, when I take out the picture ,I will ask Ss “What can you see in the picture?.Yes, its a sheep.Look ,what can he do ?.He can shear a sheep.”Then Ill ask Ss to do and chant with me.And Ill teach other sentences in the same way.At last, we will chant together while watching VCD.u 3. PracticeIn order to consolidate the knowledge in this lesson,I designed some activities.Activity one:Guess animals.Ss will guess what animal it is by watching the teacher actions.Activity two:Memory game.Ill show Ss a picture of animals.Ss can observe it for about ten seconds.Then the picture disappears.Let the Ss practice with “What are they?They are”in groups to test their memory.GeneralizationAt last I will generalize this lesson and ask Ss what do they learm from this lesson. Furthermore,Ill talk about the “Animals Protecting Day” to train Ss sense of loving animals and loving life.Thanks to the program “ Long-range Education”, which enables Ss to study a foreign language in vivid situation, to see the animals they ca
