Im from ”是要获得对方是哪里人或哪国人时用的句型。学生应能变化人称代词进行灵活运用。如:Where is he/she/Miss Green from? He/She is from 。“Im”是“I am”的缩写。疑问代词“where”译为“哪里”,本课中“Where is New York? Its in the USA.”是下一课中的新授句型,在本课中让学生第一次接触。“Where is” 的缩写为“Wheres”。Wonderland 中的四个单词均为城市名,Beijing、London和Paris是首都城市,而Sydney不是。让学生了解各城市所在国家。Developing Aims能用简单的英语进行问答有关他人及自己的背景信息,即:从哪儿来?是哪里人?并能在模拟的情景中,通过角色扮演自然运用。能了解中国及世界主要大城市的位置及所在国家,并能用英语向他人介绍。Suggestions for Teaching课时安排:4课时教材处理:第一课时:Wonderland & Farmland第二课时:Grand Theatre & Music Box第三课时:Sports Club & Disneyland第四课时:Revision & Practice3教学媒体:pictures, recorder, tape, etc.4教学方法 :词汇教学配对游戏:a. 各城市与它的标志性建筑或风景相配对。让学生学会各城市名。 b. 各城市的图片与国家国旗相配对。让学生知道每个城市是哪个国家的。句型教学活动一:事先了解几位名人的籍贯并录好声音(Im from)。教师问第一张照片上的人:“Where are you from?”,事先录好的声音说:“Im from ”。模仿教师,学生来问剩余的几张照片。(注:这些照片上的人物必须是学生熟悉的。)活动二:学生间相互问答。活动三:转述他人的话,练习句型:Where is he/she from? Hes/Shes from 课文教学步骤一:“Mike is new here.”引出“Mike is a new boy.” 体会“new”另一含义:新来的,不熟悉的。步骤二:练习A:This is Mike, a new boy. B:Wele to our class.练习正确的“欢迎”表达法。步骤三:听读课文。步骤四:角色表演。
