在高校大班口语教学中 应用任务式教学方法的可行性 韩雪 摘要： 英文是世界上应用最广泛的语言，同时也是我国高校中最 受重视和最为普及的外语教学语种。多年来，我国高校英语教 学的重点始终放在了书面语言上，而英语口语教学仅仅处于教 删 学的从属地位。压实际教学中，教师过度强调了英文语法和语 言格式的功能和运用方法等方面的教授，忽略了英语口语在教 学中的重要性。在这种传统的教学模式下，我国高校毕业生往 往能在诸如t o e f l 、g r e 、g m a t 等英语书面考试中取得娇人成 绩，但其中很多学生在与他入用英语进行的面对面口语交流和 沟通中却窘态百出，常常无法准确、流利地表达自己的思妙帮 划骚多专家、学者一直在关注这一问题，同时也做了大量的 研究和探索，希望能找出一种更为可行和适用的英语教学方 法，以摆脱目前我国高校英语教学的窘境。尽管这类研究已经 取得了令人瞩目的成就，但至今仍没能最终确定一种适用于我 国高校大班英语口语教学的教学方法材 “任务式教学法”是近2 0 年来交际教学思想的一种发展 形态，其理论基础可以溯源于已对基础教育产生深刻影响的认 知心理学。认知心理学的社会建构主义模式认为：知识是由个 人自己建构的。该模式确认了学生、教师、任务、环境四个方 面对学习过程的影响，而处在中心位置的是知识建构的主体 学生。它们在一个动态的过程中相互作用。教师设置学习任 务；学生作为个体理解这些任务的意义和个人相关性；任务便 成为教师和学生的连接界面。而这三方面则要在对其起重要作 用的环境配合下完成学习过程。认知心理学的这一理论为任务 式教学法提供了良好的理论支撑。 任务式教学法是指以完成交际任务为教学目标的外语教学 鳓 方法。( 当以语言结构为中心的教学法相比，它为激活学习兴趣 和满足不同程度学生需求提供了更好的语境，使在水平参差不 齐的大班型外语口语教学中较好地完成交际任务和教学目标成 为可能。在教学实践中，我们不仅要受到教学大纲、课程设置 的指导，同时也不可避免地受到教学方法、教学环境、教材及 学习者个体差异的影响，如学习目标、学习策略、动机、天资 等) 峨重点探讨了一个我们长期以来忽略的方面，即在英语 大班1 ：1 语课上，基于学生人数过多，学生英语水平参差不齐， 使教师无法了解学生们具体的学习目的、需求、过程及方式， 也必然导致教师找不到一种对大部分学生都适合的教学方法。 为解决上述问题，本文从理论和实际应用两个方面浅析了- 种 新的教学方法，即“任务式教学法”及其应用于我国高校大 班英语口语教学的可行性。噬章从不同的角度探讨和论证了 “任务式教学法”应用于我国高校大班英语口语教学的可能 性，比如在上英语课时，可根据学生的英语水平或学习目的等
